As a Portfolio Analyst, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to turn complex data into clear insight, helping major capital projects stay on track and supporting the growth of our onshore renewables portfolio across the UK, Ireland and Southern Europe. You will Support the planning and control of major renewable energy projects, including budgets, forecasts and investment tracking, helping projects make informed decisions. Produce clear, accurate reports and dashboards that provide insight into project performance, risks and future workload for senior leaders. Help coordinate workforce planning across multiple projects, identifying future resource needs and highlighting gaps or pressures early. Support strong project governance by helping teams follow agreed processes, standards and assurance requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Contribute to continuous improvement by developing and embedding consistent ways of working, tools and documentation across the project portfolio. You have Experience supporting projects or programmes in a project support, PMO or analyst role, ideally within a complex or fast-moving environment. Strong analytical skills, with advanced Excel skills and the ability to work confidently with large datasets and turn information into clear, practical insight. Knowledge of Power BI is desirable. You will already be an operational SAP or be able to demonstrate the ability to achieve sufficient competence with good working knowledge of electrical equipment and systems (protection systems, HV switchgear, electrical generating plant, HV / LV transformers, control systems). Be able to demonstrate experience in managing projects and contractors and have a proven track record of delivery, both personally and through others. Knowledge in either Wind, Solar or Battery technology is preferable but not essential. The position will frequently involve working in remote areas, occasionally working at height - for which training will be given. You will also be required to represent the Onshore Wind, Solar & Battery team in more formal situations and presentation skills are essential. SAP training and technical training (i.e. protection systems) will be provided.
