    Responsibilities

    Principal accountabilities:· Perform period-end activities to ensure proper classification and validity of financials, including manual journal entries and account reconciliations.· Prepare management reporting for relevant process specialty. Ensure standardisation of processes and reports across sites and business units.· Ensure data accuracy in general ledger and sub-ledgers by performing various controls, including reconciliations between ledgers.· Own the procedures and methodology of relevant process specialty. Ensure calculations and methodologies are standardised across sites and definitions are comparable.· Provide preliminary comments regarding actuals and identify variances against budget and forecast.· Ensure appropriate accounting treatment of activities and transactions.· Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process by providing accurate historical data, ensuring standardisation of templates across sites and business units, and monitoring and evaluating business performance against targets.· Analyse financial reporting and flow down to operational teams to explain performance and understand key drivers.· Participate in operational meetings and day-to-day site management in order to help quickly identify risks and opportunities and drive financial performance.· Support process improvement, process optimisation and special projects.· Actively contribute to knowledge sharing.

    Qualifications

    Responsibilities

    Support the planning and resourcing of quality engineering support for the projects to ensure the execution of all planned arrangements for quality control and quality assurance as appropriate to the business.     Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills and ExperienceQualified to Degree level or equivalent in a related engineering discipline.Have 7 years relevant quality/engineering experience within a Quality and Manufacturing Engineering environment. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills - interface with Customers and Suppliers.Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently. · Knowledge of engineering systems and the ability to deploy the Quality Toolset and the Continuous Improvement Toolset - Seven Wastes etc. Awareness of drawings and systems as applied within our major customers such as Boeing and Airbus.A good working knowledge of Microsoft Packages - Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access.     Responsibilities
