    Speedy Freight are a dedicated Courier Services & Logistics Solutions provider across the UK and we are looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our fast-paced and friendly warehouse team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in keeping our operation running smoothly and ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time.



    What You’ll Be Doing
    Order Picking: Accurately pick customer orders in line with our warehouse procedures, ensuring everything is prepared and ready for dispatch. Labelling & Dispatch: Apply correct labelling to outbound orders, making sure every shipment is clearly identified and compliant. Loading Vehicles: Load delivery vehicles safely, efficiently and on schedule to meet tight delivery deadlines. Goods In: Unload containers and deliveries, checking stock and putting items away in the correct warehouse locations. Health & Safety: Maintain a strong awareness of health and safety at all times, helping to keep the warehouse a safe and organised working environment. Team Support & Leadership: Step up to support and oversee warehouse operations in the absence of the Warehouse Manager, ensuring standards and productivity are maintained.


    Skills & Experience Computer literate, with confidence using warehouse-based systems Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment A team player with good communication skills, both verbal and written Experience using scan guns is desirable, but not essential
