    What will you be doing?

    You will work alongside a team of passionate chefs aspiring to be at the forefront of sports nutrition and you’ll be responsible for assisting with the preparation, presentation and serving of all food offered to players and staff at Southampton Football Club meeting the high standards expected from the Nutritionist and Performance Chef.

    This role will be between Staplewood Training Ground and St Marys Stadium and would suit a chef with a good sound knowledge working with fresh food. The days are busy and fast paced which will require you to be committed and organised but in return we offer very sociable hours and a competitive hourly rate, with this role there will be very few evening shifts.

    Additional Tasks:

    To support the full time chefs in preparation by working on a section designated by the full time team.
    To ensure that all menus are produced to the highest possible standard and reflect current trends, seasonal changes, and service styles.
    To assist with the management of the food stock on-site to achieve the target gross profits, prevent losses, and ensure all current legislation is adhered to.
    Create good staff, customer, and client relations.
    In conjunction with the Performance Chef ensure that all systems and procedures in the Health & Safety and Food Safety Manuals are always maintained throughout the year.
    To prepare and serve lunch / dinner as well as support with events and match day food preparation to Head and Sous Chefs specifications.
    Adhere to all COSHH procedures.
    Manage waste and stock rotation ensuring wastage report is completed and reporting any discrepancies to Head / Sous Chef.
    Ensure that any food and liquor orders that you place are accurate, stocks are kept to a minimum and that wastage is always minimised along with making sure all stock on site within your area of responsibility is kept safe labelled and always stored correctly following company policy.

    You’ll need to be able to cope well under pressure, have good organisation and communication skills and the ability to multitask is essential. You will be required to work under your own initiative and as part of a team whilst being flexible and adaptable to last minute changes to training.

    What is the role?

    We’re looking for a team of friendly, proactive people to join our Matchday Supporter Liaison Officer (SLO) team and represent Southampton FC at both
    men’s and women’s home matches, playing a vital role in welcoming supporters and helping them to get the most out of their matchday.

    What will you be doing?

    As a Matchday SLO, you’ll be the friendly face of the club on matchdays – helping fans from the moment they arrive until the final whistle. Whether it’s answering questions, offering directions, supporting fans with accessibility needs or simply helping someone feel welcome, your role is all about creating a positive experience for everyone attending.

    You’ll be positioned both inside and outside the stadium and will work closely with our Supporter Services team, Ticket Office staff, stewards, and other matchday staff to make sure everything runs smoothly

    You are naturally warm and approachable, with a friendly smile and a genuine desire to help others. You have a calm, confident and positive approach with an understanding of football and a passion for delivering excellent service ​.

    You are reliable and available for all men’s home matchdays as well as open to opportunities to support women’s matches and other club events throughout the season.

    This role does not offer an opportunity to watch the football match.

    What is the role?

    Southampton Football Club is offering two exciting MSc Placement opportunities. The successful candidates will engage in a placement, working as a Player Recruitment analyst within the Technical Recruitment department to support the work across First team and Academy.

    This role is based on students undertaking a sports science related degree at Master’s level that permits a placement year and is to be line managed by the Head of Recruitment Analysis.

    What are we looking for?

    We are looking for candidates who can be part of a multi-disciplinary team of people, be proactive and innovative in their approach and communicate effectively at all levels.

    This placement MUST form part of the overall degree programme in order for you to be considered.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    To aid in the production of player videos and dossiers on target/recommended players to a high standard in line with department processes.
    Analyse match footage in line with the club’s position specific criteria and help create/maintain a vast video library of players of interest to the football club.
    Maintain and update databases critical to the player identification process.
    Build experience in the use of data, video and general information, to assist key stake holders to make effective recruitment decisions.
    Opportunities to gain experience with live/video scouting and report writing across the 2026/27season.
    The opportunity to be involved in a range of personal development opportunities across the year, gaining insight into differing department’s workflows and processes.
    Complete ad hoc duties as requested by line manager.
    The competencies which are required include:

    Essential Experience:

    Undertaking a Master’s level degree in a sports science related degree that permits a placement year.
    An understanding of the role of performance analysis either through academic qualifications or experience.
    Strong work ethic and proactive attitude with a long-term commitment to a career in performance analysis or recruitment in elite level sport.
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    Good team player who fits in with the values and work ethic of the club as well as having a desire to develop others within the team
    Strong work ethic and proactive attitude to problem solve and work under pressure
    Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks carrying out and ensuring a high standard of work

    Self-development: is receptive to feedback about own behaviour, strengths and areas for improvement.
    Desirable Experience:

    · Prior experience in the provision of performance analysis support

    · Basic knowledge and experience of data and video analysis systems and their use to improve/assess performance

    · Proficient using Keynote, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
