The information below provides more detail about the role. Working closely with the Chief People Officer in the development and implementation of a range of People and Culture initiatives using an evidence-based approach and ensuring a direct return on investment to support strategic growth and achievement. Generous employer pension contribution Regular training and development. Duties: To provide a welcoming and professional front of house Reception Service for students, staff and visitors. To handle initial enquiries from members of the public, students and staff, ensuring safeguarding protocols are always followed. To operate the College switchboard effectively to ensure that all stakeholders have a positive interaction with the College. To maintain appropriate records, statistics and electronic data in connection with the service provided and complete all necessary administrative tasks to support this. To produce standard reports from the Admissions system and contact students regarding the information that has been missed. To use and provide support for college systems. To assist with the processing of student applications for 16-19, 19 plus and Higher Education courses ensuring that data is effectively inputted, checked and maintained securely. Always deliver excellent customer service. Answer enquiries about college courses via a variety of means ensuring enquirers receive a comprehensive, accurate and timely response in line with college processes. Support with coordinating the College interviews; conducting quality data checks of applicants, processing student letters and interview information, and dealing with enquiries. Work collaboratively supporting colleagues within the team, committed to ensuring a high-quality experience for applicants. Support at enrolment with the processing of student enrolments. Maintain appropriate records, including details of student enquiries, applications and offers. To manage student data in compliance with GDPR. Be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and/or vulnerable adults. Recognise time periods for the department where leave would have an impact and therefore would not necessarily be appropriate to take e.g. September enrolment, taster days and welcome days. To attend and support College events including Open Evenings, Welcome Days, Advice Evenings and others as appropriate. Skills/Experience: Experience of delivering excellent customer service Experience of data inputting and administrative delivery in a fast?paced environment To demonstrate previous experience of working within a receptionist role To demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with staff, students and visitors, in person and over the phone Able to keep accurate records and share information appropriately To demonstrate well-developed IT and administration skills, including word-processing and accurate database input Qualifications: Minimum GCSE grade 4 / C in English & Maths or equivalent.
