We're recruiting for a Training, Compliance & Safety Officer to join a well established food production business in Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a health & safety professional who enjoys a varied role, combining compliance, training delivery, auditing and continuous improvement within a fast-paced operational environment.
You'll play a key role in maintaining site standards, driving a positive safety culture and ensuring employees are trained, competent and compliant with company and industry requirements.
The Role
As Training, Compliance & Safety Officer, you will be responsible for:
Conducting and reviewing risk assessments and safe systems of work
Supporting health & safety compliance across the site
Delivering training, inductions and toolbox talks
Carrying out audits, inspections and compliance reporting
Assisting with incident investigations and corrective actions
Monitoring training records and competency assessments
Supporting hygiene, welfare and operational standards
Working closely with site management to drive continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
IOSH qualification (essential)
Experience delivering training within a workplace environment
Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and best practice
Confident communicator with the ability to engage employees at all levels
Experience conducting audits, inspections or compliance checks
Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
Desirable:
NEBOSH qualification
Internal auditing experience
Experience within agriculture, food production, manufacturing or a similar operational environment
