This is a fantastic temp to perm opportunity for a strong leader with warehouse and transport experience.The Role:As a Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the warehouse operation throughout the night shift, ensuring a smooth handover to the next day team.Your duties will include:Managing and supporting the night warehouse teamActing as the main point of contact for night operations staffWorking closely with drivers and warehouse operatives throughout the shiftOverseeing loading and unloading of vehicles, including trucks and trailersSupervising cargo handling, including loading, unloading, and movement of goodsBuilding and breaking down palletsChecking paperwork against cargo to ensure accuracyEnsuring all health & safety procedures are followedManaging workload and prioritising tasks to meet deadlinesProviding a detailed handover to the incoming shift and operations teamCarrying out any other duties required by managementThe Ideal Candidate:Previous warehouse supervisory / team leader experienceExperience within transport and logisticsExperience managing a busy warehouse environmentStrong leadership and communication skillsGood knowledge of warehouse systems and processesExperience using MHE, including forklift trucks (up to 10 tonne desirable)Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentGood time management and organisational skills5-year checkable work history requiredPlease note:As you can appreciate we are currently overwhelmed with applications of individuals looking for both short term and permanent work and we can therefore only contact those applications that have relevant skills for positions that we currently have available.
