To enable us to meet the statutory and regulatory obligations of the United Kingdom immigration system, you must have the appropriate immigration permission needed to work and reside in the United Kingdom for the duration of the employment.The Senior Marketing Manager will be a key leader within the Formats and International Production Marketing team, with primary responsibility for driving global marketing strategy and sales support for two of Sony Pictures Television’s long-running global entertainment franchises, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! While the primary focus is on these two titles, the role will also provide senior marketing support on additional formats or projects on an ad hoc basis, in line with business priorities.Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role plays a critical part in shaping and delivering strategic, insight-led marketing and brand initiatives that support the international rollout, positioning, and commercial success of both formats and local productions. The Senior Marketing Manager leads the development of best-in-class marketing and sales materials, providing pre- and post-sales support while ensuring consistent, premium brand representation across all markets.Working collaboratively with International Production, Motion GFX, Ancillary, and US stakeholders across SPT, this position serves as the primary marketing liaison for global distribution teams, supporting local client pitches, presentations, and events.As well as managing the strategic marketing direction for our International formats business, this role also plays a key part in driving marketing activation for Sony Pictures unscripted and scripted content on YouTube. Working closely with the VP Brand Management and Interactive Strategy, this role will support the EMEA YouTube distribution strategy, partnering with local territory teams and global stakeholders to launch and scale market-leading YouTube channels.This is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave in our London office.What you'll do:Formats– 75%Lead the creative development and end-to-end project management of format sales marketing materials for both titles, defining and maintaining clear brand positioning while shaping overall creative direction.Work closely with external design agencies and internal teams, oversee design and copy development and manage timelines and stakeholders across assets such as key artwork, pitch presentations, one-sheets and research decks, ensuring all materials are strategically aligned, creatively compelling, on-brand, and delivered to the highest standard.Oversee the sourcing and creation of video assets for screeners and sales reels, partnering with agencies and local production teams to deliver format promos that are creatively distinctive, cut through the market, and make an impact.Oversee the coordination of all show assets for both titles, directing local OpCos and internal teams to deliver photography, trailers, and related materials for international requirements and for servicing finished programme deals. Ensure clear standards, ownership, and timelines are upheld, with assets consistently managed within the SPT digital asset management systems and ensure client-facing materials are integrated across SPT platforms and catalogues.Oversee the collection and evaluation of international B2B show launch approaches, guiding the Marketing Intern in tracking activity and capturing key insights, while developing ideas and thought starters to help shape social plans across markets. Create and maintain comprehensive marketing bibles that highlight strong international launch examples and inform future format rollouts.Work in close partnership with the Motion GFX Brand Management team to support the development of brand guideline packages for new and existing format licensees, providing marketing-led guidance on positioning, tone, and execution, and coordinating feedback and approvals with US stakeholders.Collate and continually update global insights and legacy data, consolidating key historical facts, performance results, and market feedback into clear, accessible resources for ongoing reference and use.Manage marketing activity within an agreed budget, ensuring resources are allocated thoughtfully and used efficiently to maximise impact across markets, materials, and commercial objectives.Champion both titles across all key global B2B industry events, working closely with events and local PR teams on talent participation where appropriate, to ensure strong visibility, consistent positioning, and an impactful presence in every market.Act as project lead for both shows, going beyond marketing responsibilities to being the ultimate brand advocate and lead internally across both shows – linking all internal stakeholders across sales, production, graphics and researchYouTube– 25%Act as a central coordination point across territory teams, vendors, legal, and global stakeholders to ensure timely and effective execution.Project-manage the EMEA YouTube distribution strategy, including arranging meetings, planning agendas, maintaining trackers, and keeping senior stakeholders informed.Work alongside the VP Brand to support and guide territory teams in launching new YouTube channels in partnership with local vendors, ensuring legal and compliance guidelines are followed and localisation processes are efficient and scalableProvide hands-on support during launch phases and ongoing optimisation.Provide guidance on channel branding, including channel naming, content naming conventions, metadata, and search optimisation.Work with research and insights teams to understand what is performing well on YouTube, identifying local and global trends and translating them into actionable recommendations.Champion innovation and experimentation with formats (Shorts, premieres, community features, etc.).Capture and share learnings and insights from active territories to improve future launches and ongoing performance.What you have:Typically, 8+ years of experience in marketing, ideally in the television or media spaceA strong understanding of TV production processes and the formats sales business is essentialEnthusiasm for film, television, unscripted entertainment and evolving digital platforms.Interest & understanding of YouTube as both a marketing & content distribution platformCommercially aware, with a strong understanding of how marketing supports revenue and licensing.Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and WordWorking knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and video toolsProven ability to lead creative and marketing projects end-to-endExperience in influencing and
