    We have an exciting opportunity for a Salesforce Solution Architect to join our UK team.
    What You’ll Do
    Own the functional solution and guide the team through each stage of delivery from project initiation through project completion, including solution definition, design, implementation, and transition/handoff Define and work within all aspects of project delivery such as planning, grooming, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos Drive complex business requirements from targeted business outcomes, synthesizing requirements into development roadmaps and guiding the team in technical execution utilizing the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform Guide multi-discipline technical and non-technical teams (e.g., business analysts, configurators, developers, user experience designers, etc.) Work with Slalom or client Quality Assurance teams in the definition and execution of QA and UAT test plans, verification of sprint feature releases, while assisting in defect triage with the delivery team
    Qualifications
    Demonstrated ability in Agile software development as a delivery lead, functional lead, program lead, or similar Experience leading pre-sales solutioning Able to serve as a liaison between both business and technical teams to drive effective, timely Salesforce solutions that fulfill strategic and operational needs Skilled at defining and documenting business and functional requirements for ongoing system improvement initiatives in iterative software development environments Experience leading multi-discipline teams in all phases of product and software development, in addition to testing lifecycles within the Salesforce ecosystem Experience leading Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, review, demo, and stand-up sessions Familiarity with process maps, BRDs, system diagrams, user experience, application maps, test plans, and user stories. Understanding of multi-cloud Salesforce solutions using the Salesforce product suite including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities, AppExchange, and complementary technologies

    Life As a Lead Engineer
    A Software Engineering Lead/Architect plays a fundamental role in shaping and delivering amazing software solutions to client challenges during discovery and delivery. You will partner with clients to understand the technical and functional challenges they are facing as well as develop implementation and delivery plans that take advantage of emerging technologies at scale.     Specifically, You Will
    Develop scalable frontend applications using React and TypeScript, ensuring performance, accessibility, and maintainability across modern browsers and devices. Build and maintain backend services and APIs using one of either Java, .NET or Python (no need to know all three). Applying clean code principles and scalable software design patterns. Drive containerisation using Docker and manage orchestration via Kubernetes or AWS ECS/EKS to support scalable deployments. Develop secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging services such as Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, DynamoDB and RDS to support full-stack applications. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools to enable rapid and reliable software delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless integrations between frontend applications, backend services and cloud infrastructure. Foster a culture of inclusion and engineering excellence, mentoring teams and promoting well-being, diversity, and collaboration across the organisation.
    What You’ll Bring
    Experience building and scaling React applications using TypeScript in production environments. Strong backend development experience with either Java, .NET or Python.     What You’ll Do
    Own the functional solution for Salesforce initiatives, with a strong focus on Service Cloud and customer service transformation programmes. Lead the team through all stages of project delivery: initiation, solution definition, functional design, configuration oversight, implementation, and handover. Translate complex business requirements into actionable Salesforce solutions, prioritising targeted business outcomes and leveraging the full capabilities of Service Cloud and the broader Salesforce platform.     Qualifications
    Demonstrated experience as a Functional Lead, Delivery Lead, Program Lead, or similar role within Salesforce project environments. Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, including omni-channel routing, case management, service processes, knowledge, entitlements, and customer service best practices. Ability to act as a liaison between business and technical stakeholders, ensuring solutions align with strategic, operational, and user needs. Skilled in defining and documenting business and functional requirements for iterative system improvement. Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across the full lifecycle of Salesforce functional delivery. Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies and leading Agile ceremonies. Experience with process mapping, BRDs, system diagrams, user stories, test plans, and user experience considerations. Understanding of multi-cloud Salesforce capabilities (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, AppExchange solutions). Experience supporting or leading pre-sales solutioning is a plus.
