Warehouse Night Shift Operator Location: Slough Salary Benefits Starting Salary: £30,000 per year Salary Increase: Rising to £32,500 upon successful completion of your probationary period. Operating a range of Counterbalance Forklift Trucks (1.5T–8T) safely and efficiently. Picking, packing, splitting and sorting shipments accurately and within required timescales. Loading and unloading company vehicles, from vans through to articulated lorries, as well as visiting vehicles. Building, sorting and stacking aircraft pallets while recording all movements using the warehouse computer system and generating the relevant paperwork. Maintaining accurate warehouse stock records, both electronically and on paper. Working closely with the office team, supervisors and warehouse management to ensure smooth night shift operations. Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards and ensuring a clean, safe working environment. What They're Looking For To be successful in this role, you'll have: A minimum of 3 years' warehouse experience Previous experience within the Air Freight/Air Cargo industry A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (B1 Classification) (B2 is desirable but not essential) Strong organisational skills and attention to detail The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team A proactive attitude with a strong commitment to health and safety Working Hours 4 Days On / 4 Days Off 19:00 – 07:00 Enjoy a consistent shift pattern that offers an excellent work-life balance, together with regular opportunities to boost your earnings through overtime.
