    I am seeking a Digital Design Manager (DDM) to join a leading, quality-focused design consultancy known for its complex, high-profile projects. This is a pivotal role that will empower design groups, drive standards, and ensure the seamless flow of digital information from concept through construction and handover.
    The Role: Digital Design Leadership
    As the DDM, you will be the focal point for all digital engineering procedures, accountable for quality standards and timely delivery.
    Key Responsibilities Include:
    BIM & Compliance Leadership: Lead the implementation and compliance of the project's EIR and BEP , ensuring all work adheres to the ISO 19650 digital quality standard. Model Quality Control: Monitor the quality of all incoming models, perform statistical analysis from clash detection (using tools like Navisworks and Solibri), and manage model composition and content. MEP Integration & Coordination: Be fully conversant with MEP workflows and provide hands-on coordination expertise, integrating digital processes with design requirements. Process & Training: Proactively seek to improve best practice , provide guidance on software and process , and actively mentor and coach junior staff . Project Management: Produce and monitor project delivery schedules (MIDP, TIDP, etc.) , manage project resources, and provide technical advice on complexity and risk.
    Essential Skills & Experience
    Experience: Proven experience (ideally 5+ years in a management or expert role) within a construction or design consultancy. BIM Expert: Native expert user of core BIM/CAD tools including Revit, AutoCAD, Dynamo, Navisworks, and Solibri . Standards & CDE: Strong working knowledge of ISO 19650 , Collaborative Design Environments (CDE ), and familiarity with COBie and IFC import/export. MEP Foundation: Must have an MEP background with an understanding of coordination and digital design validation. Communication: Exceptional skills in presenting complex information, leading design meetings, and influencing internal and external stakeholders.
