This role will be within our Building Operating Unit and based in Moorgate, London.As a Senior Estimator, you will:Prepare all financial elements and components of the tendering process from identification and authorisation to proceed to financial handover and beyondPrepare all necessary financial documents for the Chief Estimator, Operations Director and Managing Director reviews.Assist the bidding team with any post tender negotiations as required.Maintain accurate benchmarking data from completed tenders and secured projects .Liaise with Skanska Building Services in conjunction with MEP and FS financial and cost input into submissions.Liaise with Procurement with regards to subcontractor selection and potential further opportunities on price betterment.Actively partake in and be a champion of electronic tendering practices and integration of BIM.We are looking for: Experience of estimating for large building projects.Experience of pricing tenders using computerised estimating system(s) (Causeway preferred)Demonstrable experience of liaising/working with Sub-contractors and Suppliers to produce robust estimates.Demonstrable experience of issuing/receiving tender queries.Security Clearance This role requires a minimum level of security clearance and may also require a higher level of National Security Vetting.
