    This role:
    We are looking for a Project Manager to come and join our growing Delivery team.
    This will be someone who challenges what we do daily and thrives working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines helping us build for the future.
    An idea of what you'll be doing:    
    Produce and maintain accurate records of work undertaken and maintain up-to-date and current programmes
    · Embed project control and governance in line with Sinewave processes
    · Design and maintain accurate and current programs of work for the projects they deliver
    · Provide project planning, milestone management, scope management, resource management; contractor management, financial management; change management across the project portfolio.
    · Provide routine updates and reports at an operational and commercial level, reporting on progress against target completion both internally and externally.
    · Support the Commercial team with project feedback, recommendations and lessons learned
    · Deliver projects sustainably in consideration of competence, capability and safety
    · Attend site when necessary to set contractors to work and troubleshoot and monitor quality.
    · Conduct management audits
    · Maximize profitability for the business at all times, considering innovative or better practices to deliver project efficiency wherever it is possible to do so
    · Ensure cross-programme dependencies are managed accurately
    · Ensure efficient change control methods and process are utilized.
    · Work across multiple disciplines and deal with sites, customers and designers daily remaining organized and agile whilst working with multiple teams and individuals.

    RequirementsYou'll have a proven track record of:
    Proficient in the use of Productivity and Collaboration Software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint etc. across multiple platforms such as smart phones, tablets, laptops etc.
    · Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt communication styles

    This role:
    We are looking for a Major Projects Construction Manager to come and join our growing team.
    The Major Projects Construction Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of high-voltage infrastructure projects (33kV–132kV), ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution across all phases of construction. This role involves oversight of the project management team, subcontractors, and site operations, with a strong focus on programme management, commercial performance, and technical delivery.
    Working closely with the wider Major Projects leadership team, this role will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. The Construction Manager will also play a key role in aligning site activities with client expectations, stakeholder requirements, and regulatory compliance.
    As a senior figure within the delivery function, the Major Projects Construction Manager will contribute to operational planning and continuous improvement initiatives, while acting as a visible leader on site and a key point of contact for project stakeholders including clients, DNOs, landowners, and delivery partners.
    An idea of what you'll be doing:    
    ·       Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Project Managers and site managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance. Ensure effective resource planning and performance management across multiple concurrent projects.
    ·       Oversee the successful delivery of multiple high-voltage projects (33kV–132kV), from pre-construction handover through to completion and financial handover.
    ·       Ensure projects meet programme, cost, quality, and safety objectives.
    ·       Support the strategic development of the Major Projects division by identifying opportunities for operational improvements, innovation, and scalable delivery models.
    ·       Promote and enforce a strong health, safety, and environmental culture across all construction activities. Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations, BS7671, ENA standards, and company SHEQ procedures. Conduct regular site inspections and lead safety briefings.
    ·       Uphold high standards of workmanship and ensure quality control procedures are followed throughout construction. Drive defect-free delivery and compliance with technical specifications and statutory regulations.
    ·       Act as first step of escalation contact for delivery to clients, DNOs, National Grid, landowners, and other key stakeholders. Maintain strong relationships and ensure transparent communication across the lifecycle of each project.
    ·       Manage construction-related costs, budgets, and forecasts. Identify and mitigate commercial risks and support the resolution of contractual matters including variations, early warnings, and compensation events in collaboration with the commercial team.
    ·       Monitor project progress against agreed programmes, ensuring timely execution of key activities and milestones. Address potential delays through effective planning and proactive issue resolution.
    ·       Identify, assess, and manage operational risks across all construction projects. Implement mitigation and contingency plans to maintain control over project delivery.
    ·       Provide on-site leadership and technical support in areas such as high-voltage cable laying, substation build, civil and structural interfaces, and commissioning support. Resolve site-level technical queries efficiently.
    ·       Deliver regular project updates to internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership. Prepare performance dashboards and escalate critical issues with clear recommendations.
    ·       Supporting the continuous improvement by refining construction processes, enhancing team capability, and embedding lessons learned across projects.

    RequirementsYou'll have a proven track record of:
    Proven leadership in delivering large-scale high-voltage (33kV–132kV) infrastructure projects across complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
    Strong commercial and contractual awareness, with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and NEC contract frameworks.
    Deep understanding of construction methodologies related to HV cable works, substations, and associated civil engineering interfaces.

    Demonstrable track record of delivering technically and commercially successful major projects from pre-construction to handover.
    Strong understanding of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance across construction and commissioning phases.
    Familiarity with DNO/National Grid technical requirements, land access protocols, and working in regulated utility environments.
    Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and site logistics across geographically dispersed projects.
    Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering, construction management, or project delivery.
    SMSTS, CSCS and 18th Edition desirable.
    Full UK driving licence (3 points maximum) and willingness to travel as required.

    Support the estimating department by providing the latest product information, assisting with supplier inquiries, material pricing, and maintaining the estimate system product files.
    Supporting the Procurement Manager with maintaining supplier relationships and driving forward with achieving discounts.
    Assisting with implementation of process and procedures to ensure continuity within the business.
    Monthly updates on current systemic pricing.
    Validation of receipt of goods before payments against invoices are made.
    Booking and payment of hotels booked outside of the Navan System.

    As a senior figure within the delivery function, the Major Projects Construction Manager will contribute to operational planning and continuous improvement initiatives, while acting as a visible leader on site and a key point of contact for project stakeholders including clients, DNOs, landowners, and delivery partners.
    An idea of what you'll be doing:    
    ·       Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Project Managers and site managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance. Ensure effective resource planning and performance management across multiple concurrent projects.
    ·       Oversee the successful delivery of multiple high-voltage projects (33kV–132kV), from pre-construction handover through to completion and financial handover.
    ·       Ensure projects meet programme, cost, quality, and safety objectives.
    ·       Support the strategic development of the Major Projects division by identifying opportunities for operational improvements, innovation, and scalable delivery models.
    ·       Promote and enforce a strong health, safety, and environmental culture across all construction activities. Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations, BS7671, ENA standards, and company SHEQ procedures. Conduct regular site inspections and lead safety briefings.
    ·       Uphold high standards of workmanship and ensure quality control procedures are followed throughout construction. Drive defect-free delivery and compliance with technical specifications and statutory regulations.
    ·       Act as first step of escalation contact for delivery to clients, DNOs, National Grid, landowners, and other key stakeholders. Maintain strong relationships and ensure transparent communication across the lifecycle of each project.
    ·       Manage construction-related costs, budgets, and forecasts. Identify and mitigate commercial risks and support the resolution of contractual matters including variations, early warnings, and compensation events in collaboration with the commercial team.
    ·       Monitor project progress against agreed programmes, ensuring timely execution of key activities and milestones. Address potential delays through effective planning and proactive issue resolution.
    ·       Identify, assess, and manage operational risks across all construction projects. Implement mitigation and contingency plans to maintain control over project delivery.
    ·       Provide on-site leadership and technical support in areas such as high-voltage cable laying, substation build, civil and structural interfaces, and commissioning support. Resolve site-level technical queries efficiently.
    ·       Deliver regular project updates to internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership. Prepare performance dashboards and escalate critical issues with clear recommendations.
    ·       Supporting the continuous improvement by refining construction processes, enhancing team capability, and embedding lessons learned across projects.

    Familiarity with DNO/National Grid technical requirements, land access protocols, and working in regulated utility environments.

    We are looking for a Senior Major Projects, Project Manager to come and join our growing team.
