    Shelbourne Motors is renowned for being one of the most progressive motor retailers in Northern Ireland. We like to look at things differently and strive to achieve our business objectives while maintaining the family ethos in the Shelbourne Motors foundations. At Shelbourne Portadown we representing prestigious bands such as Toyota, Renault, Dacia Nissan and Kia. We also sell, service and maintain a large selection of quality used vehicles outside of these brands. We now wish to recruit for a Senior Aftersales Advisor within our Newry premises. SENIOR AFTERSALES ADVISOR Location: Newry premises Hours of work: Monday Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm and one in 4 Saturdays 9.00am - 1.00pm THE ROLE The purpose of the Senior Aftersales Advisor role is to lead the team by role modelling exemplary customer service in the service department . They will organise the team to deliver 100% customer satisfaction first time every time. The Senior Aftersales Advisor will assist the Aftersales Manager in ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of service department. Daily tasks include: The welcoming of all customers at the Aftersales desk with a warm and professional manner, qualifying their needs; agreeing service instructions and booking vehicle into the workshop; Leading the team to deliver exemplary customer service, providing feedback and on the job training; Leading on continuous improvement initiatives to provide a seamless customer experience in the service department from initial contact to vehicle handover; To supervise and ensure all administrative records are maintained to the highest standards including contact details, invoices, payments and onwards sales administration; Carrying out campaign duties as and when required; Handling customer problems and complaints using the necessary skills and where possible resolving the issue to the mutual satisfaction of the customer and the business; Maximising the potential of up-sales if appropriate during service customer communications; Ensuring prompt customer follow up email / phone calls to maintain customer satisfaction and manufacturing standards as outlined in company policies. The Candidate The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, have the ability to inspire the team with a right first time mindset, whilst building rapport with customers. They must have 3 years experience in an aftersales roles in a comparable industry. It is also essential for the successful candidate to be proficient in Microsoft packages and hold a valid clean driving licence as they will be required to move vehicles on and off site. Preference will be given to those applicants with previous Service and or Parts Advisor experience in the automotive industry, working knowledge of CDK computerised system and a sales history. We are now seeking an ambitious, creative and forward-thinking Marketing Executive to join our high-performing Group Marketing Team. The Role You will assist in the planning, creation and delivery of multi-channel marketing activity across a diverse portfolio of allocated brands. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, award-winning environment where no two days are the same. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute quarterly and monthly tactical campaigns for allocated brands, ensuring alignment with budgets and performance targets. Update and maintain company websites with accurate offers, visuals and information. Create and deploy email marketing campaigns, sending the right messages to the right audiences. Research, create and schedule engaging social media content across META, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube. Build and optimise paid social campaigns in line with marketing strategy, ensuring high-quality creative delivery and lead generation. Collaborate with sales and aftersales teams to understand products, offers and events, translating these into compelling customer communications. Work with external digital agency partners to review and optimise campaign performance. Monitor online performance and competitor activity, identifying areas of opportunity. Support Used Vehicle merchandising across third-party platforms to ensure accuracy and consistent presentation. Compile campaign reports, analyse results and present insights to management. Respond to customer queries and reviews across digital channels in a professional and brand-aligned manner. Maintain customer databases and marketing permissions in line with GDPR. Assist in the development and execution of wider Group Marketing activities and events. Provide general administrative support to the department as required. Education & Experience Essential: Degree in Marketing / Digital Marketing At least 1 year experience in a similar role. Hands-on experience managing Meta paid advertising campaigns through Ads Manager Experience in updating CMS / website content. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent creative, organisational and analytical ability. Experience using Microsoft Office. Up-to-date knowledge of social media trends and best practice. Full and clean driving licence.
