    Our Academy Recruitment Department have the opportunity for Zone Coordinator to join our team in the Zone 1 Area (Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham)

    The Zone Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the scouting system for player identification within the relevant scouting zone, contributing to the overall recruitment strategy here at Sheffield United Football Club. The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of talent within their locality in addition to strong organisation and coordination skills.


    Role Responsibilities:

    - Responsible for overseeing the scouting system for player identification within a particular scouting zone.
    - Help formulate a long-term recruitment plan under the direction of the Head of Academy Recruitment and in accordance with the Academy Recruitment Strategy.
    - To have an overall responsibility for ensuring that the structure created for recruitment produces outstanding players.
    - Support the Head of Local Recruitment to improve links with local grassroots clubs, schools, district teams, leagues and other providers.
    - Ensure all recruitment staff are following set policies and procedures to ensure the recruitment process is acting within the rules of the EPPP.
    - Report back to the Head of Local Recruitment regularly on any progress made or issues identified.
    - Be available for scouting duties as and when required.
    - Attend the annual scout's induction event as well as scout meetings as required.
    - To attend CPD as required.
    - Any other reasonable requests as directed by management.

    Essential Criteria for the Role:

    - FA Talent ID Level 2 Certificate.
    - FA Safeguarding Children Workshop.
    - An enhanced criminal record check through the Disclosure and Barring Service.
    - Full UK Driving License.
    - Proven track record of scouting players of school age and the process involved.
    - Coaching experience.
    - Understanding of Academy rules and regulations.
    - Strong organisation and coordination skills.

    Desirable Criteria for the Role:

    - Local knowledge of grassroots football across the area of West Yorkshire.

    Sheffield United Football Club are seeking a highly motivated Physiotherapist to join our First Team Medical and Sports Science Department. This position is suited to a practitioner who has already worked with elite sports professionals and is looking to further refine their practice within a high-performance first team setting.

    Working within a multi-disciplinary team, the successful candidate will play an active role in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of neuromusculoskeletal injuries, contributing to matchday medical provision and the ongoing optimisation of player availability and performance.

    Please note that this is a development role and will require the successful candidate to supervise the use of our hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Provide medical cover at first team fixtures, home and away, where required; responsible for assessment and treatment caseload around games and travel.
    - Diagnose neuromusculoskeletal injuries/conditions and apply the appropriate treatment and management strategies.
    - Transition injured players from gym-based to pitch-based activity, reflecting both the mechanical and physiological demands of the game.
    - Lead an MDT approach to rehabilitation in conjunction with the Sports Science Department and other key stakeholders.
    - Support and improve the delivery of Profiling and injury mitigation strategies across the First Team squad.
    - Contribute to the Department's commitment to research and development.
    - Maintain and update all medical records in accordance with HCPC standards.
    - Maintaining CPD according to goals agreed during annual Performance Development Review (PDR).
    - Supervising the delivery and management of the hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber under the guidance of Head of Medicine and Sports Science.
    - Contribute to (Post-Injury-Management-Planning) PIMP for the fit players.
    - Any other reasonable requests as directed by management.

    Club Wide Responsibilities:

    - To adhere to all Sheffield United Football Club's Safeguarding Policies and Procedures to foster an environment which protects from harm those defined as children and adults at risk.
    - Complete mandatory eLearning modules in relation to Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equality and Diversity upon the request of your Line Manager.
    - To report any concerns of a Safeguarding nature to the relevant parties and remain fully compliant with any applicable Safeguarding checks and due diligence and recognise your responsibility to the Club's Safeguarding agenda.
    - To report any concerns of discrimination to the relevant parties and promote a welcoming and inclusive club environment for all.
    - To adhere to the Club's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policies, supporting the Club to create an environment which is inclusive and all-encompassing.
    - To carry out/take part in training requests as directed by the Club.

    Essential Criteria:

    - Valid HCPC and CSP Registration.
    - Successful completion of an enhanced criminal record check through the Disclosure and Barring - Service upon offer acceptance.
    - Experience working with Elite Sports Professionals with considerable experience operating at this level.
    - Pitch side trauma management (AREA/ATMMIF) or equivalent.
    - Good Interpersonal Skills - must be a consistent performer.
    - Reflective on own approaches, strengths, weaknesses and area for development.
    - Student of the profession, looking to improve and develop.
    - A strong motivator, with high enthusiasm.
    - Experience of gymnasium and field-based rehabilitation.

    Desirable Criteria:
