    Mechanical Technician – Power Station Competitive salary depending on experience + benefits Sleaford, Lincolnshire SCINERGY Recruitment are recruiting for a Mechanical Technician to join the maintenance department of a biomass power station near in Sleaford, Lincolnshire. This role focuses on delivering safe, reliable mechanical maintenance across the plant, supporting availability, efficiency and long-term asset performance. The successful candidate will work closely with operations and engineering teams to ensure all mechanical equipment is maintained to a high standard.     Chief C&I Engineer - Energy from Waste Fleet Excellent salary + car allowance + bonus + benefits National role - covering all UK sites SCINERGY Recruitment are working with a leading Energy from Waste operator to recruit a Chief C&I Engineer to support the existing site teams across its national fleet of Energy from Waste plants. Working closely with the Central Engineering Team, you will act as the fleet-wide subject matter expert for DCS, functional safety systems, PLCs and cyber security - setting standards, driving best practice and improving the safety, reliability and standardisation of C&I assets across all UK sites.     Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician – Anaerobic Digestion Plant Up to £45,000 + Benefits Malmesbury SCINERGY Recruitment are partnering with a leader in the green energy sector and are recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join the operations and maintenance team of a renewable energy Anaerobic Digestion (AD) plant. This role focuses on ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the plant through the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in maximising plant availability, reducing downtime and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site. The role will involve: • Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules through the CMMS system • Carrying out reactive maintenance activities to minimise plant downtime • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and implementing effective long-term solutions • Supporting root cause analysis investigations and implementing reliability improvements • Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and in compliance with company procedures and statutory regulations • Maintaining accurate maintenance records, fault logs and asset histories within the CMMS • Managing site spare parts and consumable inventories to support plant reliability • Coordinating and supervising specialist contractors when required • Working closely with operations personnel to resolve plant issues and improve performance • Supporting compliance with DSEAR, PSSR, PUWER, LOLER and other relevant legislation • Assisting with audits, inspections and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility • Providing technical support to site operations and holiday cover where required This role will be primarily site-based, with flexibility required to respond to breakdowns and occasional out-of-hours callouts. This is a hands-on operational role, ideally suited to someone with previous anaerobic digestion, biomass, waste processing or heavy industrial process experience who is confident operating loading shovels and working within a continuous process environment. The Role Reporting to the Plant Manager, you'll support the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the anaerobic digestion facility, helping maintain plant performance while ensuring feedstock is processed safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Operating loading shovel equipment to safely load feedstock into plant hoppers. Carrying out routine plant inspections and operational checks. Monitoring plant performance using the site's SCADA control system. Responding to plant alarms and reporting operational issues. Assisting with basic fault finding and first-line operational support. Maintaining good housekeeping standards across the site. Completing operational records and shift documentation. Supporting planned maintenance activities where required.
