Do you want to make a real difference and help us deliver new places?We are looking for a Landscape Architect or Landscape Planner with a balance of creative and technical skills in landscape design and green infrastructure, as well as the potential to prepare Landscape and Visual Appraisals. The ideal candidate will have a drive to create high quality, sustainable places and will be the day to day landscape lead on a wide variety of projects with support from a Landscape Director and Associate Director. The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of an inter-disciplinary environment. The Urban Design Studio collaborates closely with multiple teams within Savills, such as Savills Earth on sustainability and Savills Planning. Day to day you will collaborate with our award-winning masterplanning team, leading on landscape aspects to support the delivery of a diverse range of ecologically and environmentally sensitive masterplanning and urban design projects. There will be a particular focus on strategic landscape design, with the potential for a more detailed design input. The Studio's reach is diverse, with a strong pipeline of significant projects including Garden Villages, Strategic Urban Extensions, major urban mixed-use and commercial, tourism and leisure, in addition to a wide ranging land owner estate portfolios. We work for a wide variety of high profile clients, spanning public sector bodies and agencies, local authorities, charities, landowners, institutions, developers, promoters, national and regional house builders, commercial/leisure operators and investors. The successful candidate will work as part of our national Urban Design Studio, primarily based in our Southampton Office but also working with teams based in our other Studio offices in London and Oxford. Our Southampton team includes seven other designers with landscape/architecture/urban design backgrounds.
