The role of Maintenance Caretaker will include:
Undertake reactive basic repairs and maintenance duties in student accommodation , undertaking repairs and reporting issues which require specialist attention Ensuring statutory compliance is maintained including carrying out Fire Alarm Tests, emergency Lighting and water hygiene, ensuring they are all completed in a timely manner Record keeping in line with standard operations procedures
Assisting the management team with flat inspections and audits to ensure safe and secure environments in line with Health and Safety and emergency procedures and regulations.
Ensuring the standard of cleanliness of the site is maintained including waste management and cleaning in accordance with specific site requirements and schedules
Act as first point of contact to our customers, responding positively to complaints and service breakdowns Skills and experiences: Experience within a caretaking or maintenance role is essential
Practical skills in identifying and /or carrying out basic repairs
Working knowledge of health and safety
Excellent communication skills allowing you to provide great customer service
Ability to interpret written instructions, maintain simple written records and assess priorities to then a plan work schedule effectively Why work for us?
