The role of Retirement Communities Manager will include:Taking overall responsibility of all aspects of life at the service as a 24/7, 365-day operation, including overall financial performance, asset compliance and other regulatory requirements
Managing and motivating a multi-disciplinary team to achieve performance targetsWorking closely with the Chef Manager to deliver a value for money, high quality food offerDelivering high-quality customer focused services to residents and stakeholdersStrongly delivering regulatory compliance across all areas of business.Working collaboratively with the onsite Care Providers to ensure the care service is safe, compliant, efficient, and effective and maintain high standardsWorking closely with relevant support teams to drive apartment sales and rentalsManaging relationships with leaseholder and tenantsManaging relationships with commissioners and key stakeholdersEnsuring delivery of a high-quality housing service including repairs monitoringDeveloping and supporting volunteering opportunities to enhance the serviceAssisting with the preparation of annual budgets and targets for your location, monitoring performance, reporting and action planning where neededResponding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to ensure excellent customer service is consistently delivered Skills and experiences:
A passion for working with older peopleGreat customer service skillsPrevious housing experienceProven experience in working in a fast-paced environment where the need to manage a range of conflicting demands effectively is essentialGood organisational skills Experience of working in a retirement village setting or an understanding of our client groupExperience of ensuring contractual complianceProven financial and business acumenExperience in dealing with challenging situationsThe ability to be empathetic and have good interpersonal skillsKeep accurate/ thorough recordsAbility to work on your own initiativeHigh levels of motivation, flexibility and communication Are you ready to be your best?
