Role Responsibility Creating branded visuals in a variety of formats from brochures, digital assets, to working with our internal teams to deliver best in class marketing materials across all channels as required– working to briefs supplied by the Marketing/Digital/CRM/Social teams or as directed by the Head Creative. Develop design concepts, graphics and layouts, in line with briefs keeping our customers front of mind  Bring the Saga Brand experience to life, challenging existing creative bringing fresh ideas, utilising brand attributes. Working alongside marketing and creative teams to create personalised content as required to support campaigns and customer journeys along with creating the right content at different stages in the customer journey Contributing to creative test and learn plans using VOC panel as a guide Collaborate with Copy and Creative Marketing colleagues on briefing and visual sessions, challenging briefs as required  When required, work in a collaborative manner with external resource, be that agencies or freelance support The Ideal Candidate • 2 years + experience within design (print, digital, CRM) is essential • Proficient in Adobe CC suite of software demonstrating excellent knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and InCopy, with a good understanding of AfterEffects and PremierPro • Project manager and strong communicator – able to bring teams together to meet goals. • A strong negotiator and influencer • Used to working as a team and building solid working relationships  – collaboration is paramount • You will be a self-starter who is able to create solutions and not wait for a brief. • Experience in omni-channel visual creation and delivery to deadlines • Keeping up to date with design and software trends and applying insights to improve business performance. • Career experience in a consumer-facing organisation – ideally in the travel sector. • Good commercial awareness. • Strong growth and performance mentality, innovating and exploring new opportunities beyond the default approach Saga Values: Make it Happen, Do the Right Thing, Customer First, Excellence Every Day, Our People Make Us Special Package Description At Saga we recognise that our people make us special. We have an exciting roadmap of projects over the next year and you’ll join an established expert team, working on across all of our business areas. Working as a C# .Net Application Developer, you will be focussed on Saga’s ‘Customer Hub’. The Customer Hub team sits in the Technology function and collaborates with stakeholders from across the organisation and trusted third parties, receiving all customer transactions for processing, ensuring data quality and customer matching across product lines / business groups, then republishes through products such as Adobe Campaign for use in an array of marketing campaigns. You’ll be collaborating closely with other Application Developers and Lead Developers and across the wider IT community, plus engaging with business stakeholders. In this role you will get the chance to deliver, maintain and enhance applications within the Customer Hub function. This team is fast moving, iterative and highly agile. A great chance for you to develop your skills on multiple platforms, programming languages and interesting projects, we will also support you to enhance your skills in this role. We work in a hybrid way at Saga both at home and in the office. This role requires you to be working from our Folkestone offi ce roughly once a week, allowing us to collaborate and share success as a business.

    Role Responsibility Our Application Developer will be responsible for the following areas: •    Troubleshooting and data fixes. •    Building and modifying software applications in line with business needs and requirements. •    Integrating software components and third-party applications. •    Working with UAT/QA teams, ensuring any deliveries are of high quality and meet or exceed standards. •    Working collaboratively with other Technology professionals to deliver technology programmes, projects and workstreams. •    Ensuring deliveries are secure, in line with best practice and aligned to policy. •    Creating and maintaining technical documents. •    Remaining up to date with development best practice. •    Assisting with troubleshooting systems and work collaboratively to resolve and prevent any defects, risk or issues.
    The Ideal Candidate As our newest Application Developer you’ll work on flow and fixes of customer data across various systems and customer journeys.  We need our new Application Developer to demonstrate the following skills; •    Have already worked in a C# / .net Application Development role. •    Demonstrates excellent communication and time management skills. •    Has clear knowledge of coding languages and frameworks; C#, ASP .NET, T-SQL (Microsoft SQL Server) •    Shows the desire to learn new coding languages and technologies. •    Has an eye for detail and identifying problems.
