What Were Looking For
We welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds and experience. To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
Essential:
NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating or relevant equivalent
Minimum of 3 years experience as a plumbing & heating engineer or a similar role
Unvented Hot Water and Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations certifications
Knowledge and strong understanding of commercial mechanical systems
Willingness to travel on a daily basis and stay away when required for the needs of the business
A proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach aligned with our values of Building, Sharing, and Caring
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Confidence using IT systems (Microsoft Office and project tools). Site based employees are issued with an iPad and relevant work programmes
Full UK driving licence (minimum 6 months post-test experience)

Job Description What Youll Be Doing
Reporting to the Department Manager, you will support the Building Services team in delivering a diverse range of mechanical projects valued up to £1m. Projects span commercial, retail, public sector and government properties, including shopping centres, supermarkets, police stations and other secure facilities, some of which may require additional security clearance.
This is a varied, hands-on role involving installation, maintenance, fault-finding, repair and upgrade works on commercial heating and plumbing systems. Duties may include servicing and replacing boilers, maintaining heating plant and plant room equipment, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, commissioning systems, and diagnosing faults to ensure minimal disruption to customers.
