    Our client is a dynamic, vibrant and growing specialist Accountancy Practice based in the Lisburn area. Due to ongoing expansion, a superb opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts person to join the Firm. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build a long-term career with a Practice that rewards and recognises talent and achievement. THE ROLE Accounts preparation for the medical sector including partnership accounts for GP surgeries, dentists, private consultants. The ability to prepare Self-Assessment and Corporation Tax returns would be preferred but not essential. Providing leadership and management by supervising and training junior team which will include reviewing of work prepared by junior team members. Medical experience is not essential - full training will be provided. THE PERSON A qualified accounting technician or accountant (ACCA or ACA) with at least three years post qualification. experience Have at least four (and preferably more) years' experience in a small or medium size practice From day one, be willing to take on a sizable client portfolio and can manage the relationships within that portfolio. Review accounts files, identifying trends and amendments, planning points and opportunities. Can complete accounts files within a time and cost budget constraints. Be technically proficient in the use of cloud accounting software and associated apps, Accounts Production and Tax software. Be fully aware of the implementation and application of Financial Reporting Standards. Have the commercial acumen to spot opportunities to assist in developing the clients within that portfolio including the ability to accurately prepare fee proposals. Able to work to tight deadlines, both internal and statutory Have a clean driving licence and access to your own transport. THE ROLE To design, develop, and refine high-performance machinery and attachments. You will take projects from initial concept through to production-ready documentation. KEY DUTIES Product Innovation: Develop innovative concepts for new agricultural and construction attachments, focusing on durability and value for money. 3D Modelling & Drafting: Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks. Technical Design: Perform engineering calculations for structural integrity, load-bearing capacity, and hydraulic systems integration. Prototyping & Testing: Oversee the construction of prototypes and conduct rigorous field testing to ensure machines meet customer expectations and safety standards. Continuous Improvement: Modify existing product designs based on customer feedback and advancements in materials. Documentation:Review and prepare comprehensive operator manuals and technical reports for each product. THE PERSON Degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent HND with experience). 2-3 years of experience in a mechanical design role, ideally within the agricultural or plant machinery sector. Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and 2D drafting. Strong understanding of fabrication and welding processes. Innovative problem-solver with a hands-on, practical approach to machine function. Ability to present design concepts to clients or senior management. SALARY An industry attractive rate of pay based on experience will be on offer to the successful candidate.
