    To support the efficient running of the late shift. we have a vacancy for a dedicated individual to join us as a Work Area Manager. In this role, you will oversee a minimum of 20 frontline staff, delivering high performance leadership, driving motivation, innovation, and service excellence for our global customers
    You will be responsible for:

    Health and safety compliance, ensuring all employees take responsibility for H&S and driving safety-first culture in the work area.The day-to-day operation and performance of the work area ensuring work plan and scorecard targets are achieved to exceed customer expectation.The management of frontline staff to include regular one-to-ones, team meetings and HR duties, attendance, performance management, training, and team development. The maintenance and analysis of all Work Area control systems.Monitoring daily performance and operational plans and collaborating with the Shift Manager to exceed service and operational metrics.Identifying and implementing process improvements and delivering change management Shift pattern: Tuesday – Saturday 13:48 - 22:00.     A bit about you

    •    Varied vehicle experience: Proven Vehicle Technician experience working on a wide range of vehicles, for example HGV.  As this is a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) workshop, we are seeking Technicians with prior experience working on HGVs.
    •    Valid UK driving licence: You hold a full manual UK driving licence, HGV/FLT licence would be advantageous.
    •    High working standards: you take pride in your work and do what is necessary to make sure the job is done effectively.
