     What is the opportunity?The Compensation Analyst is responsible for working on the design, development, implementation and communication of compensation solutions (salary, short-term incentive and equity programs) which support and align with RBC’s Compensation Principles and comply with local remuneration policies for the UK and European groups.You will provide the HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and senior management with advice on all aspects of compensation programs, policies, initiatives and integrated HR solutions, ensuring that they have a clear understanding of the financial and human capital impact of their HR decisions. Additionally, you will work to ensure RBC’s adherence to remuneration rules and the requirements of Regulators across the Wealth Management platforms in the UK and Europe and therefore help maintain RBC’s reputation on regulatory matters.This is a full-time role and will require 4 days in the office.What will you do?As part of the UK Compensation Team, you, in conjunction with input from other teams, will be accountable for the following deliverables:Design base salary and incentive solutions for employees that support RBC’s attraction and engagement strategies, ensuring programs are aligned with RBC’s Compensation Principles so that they are financially viable, as well as adhere to all regulatory remunerations rulesProvide advice, counsel and direction on compensation solutions to Business Partners supporting the business in its achievement of both its short- and long-term strategic objectives.  You will work with major change initiatives (mergers, divestitures, re-alignment of roles, etc.) and provide advice for offers, retention situations, as well as how to address compensation discrepanciesYou will help to further advance RBC’s Gender Pay and D&I initiatives through analysis and reportingParticipate in third party market research and utilise results to provide HRBPs with meaningful insights and actionable information and recommendations to help more effectively manage compensation spend and increase employee engagementAdminister Compensation Year-End (YE) Cycle for Groups – ensuring Comp tools are properly configured.  Work with HRBPs /leaders in order to optimise decision-making on all variable compensation, actively help the overall team prepare YE HR Committee materials and regulatory submissionsProactively leverage external networks to provide RBC with competitive intelligence, keeping abreast of market trends that could impact RBC compensationDrive efficiency and effectiveness through continuous process improvement, automation and streamlining.What do you need to succeed?

various critical functions to RBCCM’s Securitisation Finance business within Global Markets.  The team provides transactional execution support in the US, Canada, Europe and APAC for Securitisation transactions funded directly on RBC’s balance sheet or via the issuance of commercial paper by one of seven multi-seller RBC administered commercial paper conduits.  SFPM also provides on-going at least monthly (some transactions daily) complex collateral monitoring, administration and reporting on a large and diverse portfolio of bespoke private transactions across 25+ asset classes for over 125 clients. SFPM also performs daily management of all aspects of 7 individual finance companies of which 6 are separate and distinct from RBC providing funding to clients through the US & CAD ABCP marketsSFPM is a centre of excellence in supporting structured finance transactions, and this role will also include nuances of operational, compliance, project management, front office origination, finance/accounting responsibilities and compiling data for internal and external constituents and performing a variety of administrative functions to ensure compliance with applicable by-laws, transaction legal documents and internal policies and proceduresRBC’s expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.What will you do?Potential to manage a small team providing oversite of local portfolio and Securitisation Special Purpose Entity (SPE) activitiesWork with defense for on-going collateral monitoring for designated transactions.  Identify any portfolio aberrations, deterioration or breaches of deal triggersAssist with creating and maintaining custom
