    Role Description
    This is a full-time role for a Project Manager at Olsen Actuators & Drives. The Project Manager will be responsible for the management of UK and international projects with values ranging from £10k through to £4m, covering design and development and manufacturing. This role is located in Runcorn although flexibility can be discussed as an experienced Project Manager you will understand the importance of being with the team, managing from within and leading from the front.
    Key Duties Manage all assigned projects assuring that they remain under control reporting monthly on Progress, Risk, Opportunities, Cost to Complete (CTC), Forecast Cost at Completion (FCAC), Margin, etc… Manage project changes balancing commercial coverage and customer relationships whilst identifying opportunities to enhance margin performance. Lead internal and where required external meetings and manage Rolling Action Item Lists (RAIL) to ensure that project issues, customer requests and actions are completed by the project team in a timely manner. Assume customer point of contact for day to day communication. Manage external suppliers to deliver where they are utilised on assigned projects. Create and manage schedules in (Microsoft Project) providing timely updates to customers as required. Ensure Risks and Opportunities are managed. Co-ordinate with the Operations Director to identify resource demands and capacity constraints across the business. Support Requests for Quotation (RFQ) for new projects.     A well-known manufacturer based near Exeter are looking to expand their Maintenance department with an additional Maintenance Engineer who has a background in Manufacturing & Boiler (Steam) maintenance. The role will be working on a permanent day shift basis, offering a competitive salary of £30,000 to £35,000 p/a, as well as overtime rates and other benefits. Reporting directly to the Operations Director you’ll be supporting the department with machine breakdowns and reactive maintenance, as well as compiling TPM schedules and other planned maintenance documents. The role will also include learning more about the bespoke PLC machinery used on site, including some operation duties, and liaising with the Health and Safety team to make sure all documentation is logged correctly. To be considered for these positions you’ll need to demonstrate experience in a similar maintenance position, with exposure to Boiler (Steam) maintenance being preferred. You’ll need to be comfortable working on an autonomous basis, and confident in taking a lead in responding to machine breakdowns and other reactive maintenance demands. Ideally you will also have some experience supporting TPM with planned maintenance activities.
