Role & Responsibilities – Laser Operator Develop new CNC and/or Laser programs based on engineering drawings and models
Troubleshoot programs and implement process improvements
Collaborate with engineering to resolve process or fixture issues.
Edit and adapt existing programs for different machines.
Maintain a database for new and existing programs
Work closely with the shop floor to adjust and optimize programs.
Navigate and utilize an MRP system effectively.
Experience Required Minimum 5 years of offline programming experience on 3, 4, and 5-Axis CNC Mills & Laser machines.
Proficiency in MasterCAM (or a similar CAD/CAM system) and a willingness to train in MasterCAM
Strong knowledge of cutting tools, standard machining practices, Laser machine parameters, and GD&T.
Aerospace experience is preferred but not required.
