We believe preservation-first is the right approach to managing wealth.We have recently introduced a Head of Business Applications to support the WMUK business to define and build new IT Services to meet rapidly evolving business needs and support business growth.Role OverviewThe Power Platforms Administrator role will report into the Power Platform Lead and will work closely with WMUK Power Platforms Team, key business stakeholders and subject matter experts across Wealth Management as well as Group IT and local IT teams in our other locations.We are seeking a talented and experienced Power Platforms Administrator to join our Business Applications function. As a Power Platforms Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting the ongoing management and optimisation of the firms Power Platform ecosystem including Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate and related services. You will work closely with stakeholders to streamline business operations and support the delivery of continuous improvement, environment management and change control, ensuring the platform evolves with business strategic and user needs.You are pragmatic and able to balance business needs and complexity. You keep pace with technology trends in the Power Platforms arena and foster a culture of continuous improvement and being able to suggest and lead innovations in the Power Platforms space.The role is based in London but occasionally you may be expected to travel to other locations as the role demands.ResponsibilitiesPlatform Operations & GovernanceSupport the daily operation and maintenance of the Power Platform environments including user access management, configuration and governance.Monitor capacity usage, licensing, and performance across Power Apps, escalating issues where required.Maintain documentation relating to environment setup, governance, data policies, and security configurations.Participate in governance processes by preparing platform analysis.Development SupportAssist in validation and testing enhancements within Dynamics 365 (model-driven apps) and canvas apps, working in the SCRUM team.Contribute to backlog refinement by capturing business requirements and translating them into actionable work items.User & Stakeholder EngagementAct as the first point of contact for platform-related queries and incident triage, collaborating with delivery team, internal support channels and third-party partners.Support user communications and documentation.Continuous Improvement & InnovationIdentify opportunities to improve platform efficiency, data quality, and user experience.Keep abreast of Microsoft’s Power Platform roadmap and new feature releases, assessing potential adoption within WMUKExperience & SkillsEssentialExperience working with Microsoft Power Platform components particularly Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.Understanding of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (model-driven apps) and Platform Admin Centre.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.Comfortable working in a regulated environment, with an appreciation for governance, risk, and change management principles.DesirableFamiliarity with Azure DevOps, particularly for backlog management.Awareness of data structures, relationships, and Power BI integration within the Power Platform.Experience supporting environment governance and security models (e.g. DLP policies, role-based access).Prior exposure to financial services or wealth management operations.Personal AttributesAbility to interact professionally with the full spectrum of stakeholdersSelf-motivated, determined and focussed to get the job done properly, using his/ her own initiative when a situation demands itA process-oriented individual, with strong management skills, who has the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic organization with high levels of technical complexityDetail oriented yet also pragmatic and able to balance conflicting and changing demandsAbility to learn quickly with a “can do” attitude to turn challenges into opportunitiesEffective communicator who can adjust communication style to fit the audience and message.
