    Purpose of the role



    Our roommates are a
    family of real people with real personalities. We are people who approach

    As a roommate, it’s
    your role to ensure every guest who enters our hometel leaves has a positive
    and memorable experience. As our roommate you will know and understand what it
    means to deliver amazing hospitality across our food and beverage and customer-facing
    outlets and will thrive on the challenge of always exceeding guests’
    expectations. You will be expected to achieve a level of service through the
    constant monitoring of our established brand standards.



    Key Responsibilities



    People

    ●      Be able and ready to assist guests with any
    enquiries they may have, including welcoming guests as soon as they arrive with
    due care and attention.

    ●      Assist the guests with checking into their
    rooms and ensure they are happy.

    ●      Deliver the best customer service experience
    for locals and guests.

    ●      Help prepare and service a great range of
    drinks and a fantastic, freshly produced menu.

    ●      Make your service smooth, confident and
    tailored to every individual who walks in the door.

    ●      Have a can-do attitude, understanding all brand
    standards and reading your guest’s needs.

    ●      Be open to change and see it as a positive. You
    thrive in positive feedback from guests and strive to make every experience in
    the front of house areas amazing.

    ●      Love self-development, coaching and supporting
    new staff. You can have fun on shift but know what needs to be done to deliver
    the brand promise.

    ●      Be proud of Winnie’s Cafe and know that your
    contribution is a large one when it comes to the overall operation of the
    department.

    ●      Your Health and Safety and food safety
    knowledge is evident on shift at all times.

    ●      Be well-presented for every shift.

    ●      Deliver a memorable service to guests at all
    times; from booking a stay, through to coffee and farewells.
