Experience working on office fit out projects and industrial refurbishment schemes will be important. You'll understand cost management, valuations, variations, subcontractor accounts, forecasting and final accounts. Just as importantly, you'll be comfortable communicating with Contracts Managers, operational teams and directors to ensure projects remain commercially on track. What you will be doing with your experience You'll take responsibility for the commercial management of four to five live fit out and refurbishment projects from start to finish. You'll be managing costs, preparing valuations, overseeing subcontractor accounts, monitoring project performance and protecting margins throughout the project lifecycle. Alongside your own projects, you'll work closely with the Contracts Managers at month end to help pull together the commercial reporting required by the directors for board meetings. This gives you visibility across the wider business and the opportunity to play an important part in commercial decision making. The role is based from the Manchester office, giving you direct access to the wider commercial and operational teams.
