Rix Gas Services, part of the well-established Rix Group, is expanding our Electrical department and we're looking for a qualified Domestic Electrician to help us build something exciting. Based in Hull, Rix Group has over 150 years of history, offering stable careers and genuine growth opportunities within a family-run environment.
We're now growing our electrical division and seeking a reliable, skilled electrician to support our domestic customer base, with occasional opportunities to assist our industrial/commercial team.
The Role
You'll primarily work on domestic installations and maintenance, so you'll need to be confident and experienced in the following:
Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
Installation and replacement of consumer units
Fault finding and general electrical repairs
EV charger installations (desirable)
Solar panel installations (desirable)
This is a hands-on role offering a great mix of day-to-day domestic work, with the chance to broaden your experience in commercial and industrial settings as we grow.
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
BSth Edition
Full UK Driving Licence
Personal Qualities:
Self-motivated and proactive
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong communication and customer service
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Positive, can-do attitude
