Job description:EV Installation Engineer Join Riviera ElectricalAre you a qualified EV Installation Engineer looking for your next opportunity?Due to continued growth and increasing demand for electric vehicle charging infrastructure,Riviera Electricalare looking for skilled, motivated, and customer-focused EV Installation Engineers to join our team across Devon and the South West.We are offering:A full-time employed positionOpportunities for self-employed engineers to support our growing workload.Competitive rates of pay with consistent work available throughout the year.Ongoing training and development within the rapidly expanding EV sector.About the RoleAs an EV Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of electric vehicle charging equipment at domestic and commercial properties.You will be representing Riviera Electrical on-site, delivering high-quality installations while providing excellent customer service and ensuring all work complies with current industry standards and regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation and commissioning of EV charging equipment at domestic and commercial premises.Conducting site assessments and identifying suitable cable routes and charger locations.Installing containment systems, cabling, protective devices, and associated electrical infrastructure.Testing and inspecting completed installations.Completing all certification and commissioning documentation accurately.Diagnosing faults and carrying out remedial works where required.Ensuring compliance with BS7671 Wiring Regulations, manufacturer requirements, and health and safety procedures.Providing clear handovers and demonstrations to customers following installation.Maintaining company standards of workmanship, professionalism, and customer care.RequirementsEssentialFull UK Driving Licence.18th Edition Wiring Regulations.Experience in carrying out electrical EV installations.Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.DesirableEV Charging Qualification (City & Guilds 2919 or equivalent).Inspection and Testing Qualification (2391 or equivalent).ECS Gold Card.Experience installing EV charge points, including:HypervoltOhmeZappiEaseeBenefits (Employed Roles)Company van.Company Credit card.Company pension.Private Health Care, Including Optical And DentalUniform and PPE provided.42-hour working weekJob Type:Full-time or SubcontractorSalary:£42,000 per year Basic PayOvertime Opportunities are always availableLicence/CertificationFull UK Driving Licence (required).18th Edition (required).EV Charging Qualification (preferred). xrexnqw Work LocationField-based across Devon and the South West.If you are passionate about renewable technology and want to be part of the UK's transition to electric vehicles, we'd love to hear from you.**Riviera Electrical Limited **Benefits:Company pensionPrivate medical insurance
