You’ll interact with customers every day and ensure to provide a ‘best in class’ customer experience. Key responsibilities: Policy Implementation: Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, ensuring full compliance with UK and Ireland standards and regulations. Safety Culture: Promote and embed a culture of safety (and prevention) throughout the organisation by leading awareness campaigns and training initiatives. Involvement in the strategic further development of Health, Safety & Wellbeing programs to strengthen our culture. Audit Management: Conduct internal audits and ensure all health and safety documentation and procedures are audit-ready. Training & Development: Design and deliver comprehensive health and safety training for employees and leadership. Ensure all employees complete mandatory training modules within required timeframes. Monitor training completion rates and proactively follow-up with managers and employees to close any gaps. Testing and Reporting: Responsible for managing accident and incident reporting, ensuring timely investigations and compliance with legal requirements. Oversee statutory inspections, risk assessments proactively identifying potential hazards and implementing effective controls, and regular alarm testing, maintaining accurate records and addressing any issues promptly. The role also includes liaising with external partners and regulatory bodies to ensure all reporting obligations are met. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to drive a high standard of health and safety performance. Build strong relationships with external service partners and regulators to maintain best-in-class standards. Manage the health and safety budget effectively, ensuring resources are in place to support compliance and training programs.
