We are seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager to join our Supply Chain team. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for all Line Management operational functions within a multi-temperature warehouse environment ensuring excellent service for our customers. Core Role and Key Responsibilities You will primarily be responsible for ensuring that all warehouse operations are performed according to stipulated timelines and within budget. With responsibility for team management, resource planning and allocation, you will ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Coupled with close control of stock management and health and safety compliance, you will direct the team to operate according to Ritter Courivaud policies and procedures. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: · Management of the flow of goods throughout the warehouse ensuring process adherence and accuracy at all stages of receipt, put away, replenishment, picking and despatch. · Monitor your team's performance throughout the shift, making tactical choices to optimise service levels without overspending vs budget. · Onboarding, training and continuous development of a team of Warehouse Operatives across the Distribution Centre. · Process compliance. · Comprehend change management and be able to identify changes and focus areas for your team. · Willing to accept responsibility for long term, sustained performance improvement. · Work under pressure whilst managing multiple timed targets simultaneously. · Drive operational compliance to process. · Make critical decisions within a fast-paced environment. · Maintain high standards of customer service, for internal customers and external customers and communicate these values to your team. · Maintain a clean and safe working environment and ensure the Clean as You Go policy is followed by all. · Support the delivery of the engagement framework through the engagement tools to create high performing teams, continuous improvement, and a high performing culture. · Manage and lead a team to ensure that they have the skills sets, resources and support needed to deliver their role and achieve objectives, and that they operate in a manner consistent with the ethos and values of the organisation. The successful candidate will have / be: · Experience in a similar type of multi-temperature FMCG role, having worked in a team or project that demonstrates the above skills particularly. · Excellent management and team performance skills with the ability to work successfully with both management and warehouse teams. · The ability to identify and solve problems through their own initiative and by communicating with others. · Proven experience of working under pressure to achieve set targets and meet deadlines. · Experience identifying, recommending and implementing continuous improvements to current processes or procedures. · Demonstratable success of developing and managing high performance teams. · Motivational and supportive, with excellent communication and influencing skills. · An entrepreneur who constantly seeks to improve existing processes. · Self-motivated and resilient. · Strive to improve customer service through accuracy and quality. · Upbeat and energised. · Flexible supporting colleagues and other departments across a 24/5 operation. · To engage and support a harmonious environment at all levels. · Knowledge of distribution operational systems and knowledge of specific processes in relation to H
