    What you’ll be doing:

    A growing infrastructure team in Manchester is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer or Senior Engineer to help deliver major residential-led development projects. This is an opportunity to join a specialist team working on large-scale schemes ranging from 50 units to several thousand homes.

    You’ll take a hands-on role in designing infrastructure, planning and detailed design stage, with real ownership and progression available.

    What you’ll be doing:

    • Leading or supporting the design of residential infrastructure projects
    • Developing drainage strategies, level plans and earthworks appraisals
    • Producing Flood Risk Assessments, Utilities Statements and technical notes
    • Working on S104 / S38 / S278 submissions and technical approvals
    • Preparing and coordinating planning-stage documents
    • Guiding junior engineers, checking work and ensuring project quality
    • Liaising with clients, design teams and local authorities
    • Managing elements of projects (Senior role: full project management + fee proposals + BD)

    What we’re looking for:

    • Several years’ post-graduate UK consultancy experience
    • Strong background in pre-planning and planning-stage infrastructure design
    • Proficiency with MicroDrainage & AutoCAD (Civils 3D beneficial)
    • Good technical understanding + strong communication skills
