We believe that everyone should be treated with respect and dignity – and that’s why equity is one of our core values. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Bank Mental Health Recovery Worker to work as part of our service in Warminster – The Mead.The Mead is a CQC registered residential home, located in a quiet area, but close to local amenities. This service offers 24-hour support, so there are always trained staff on hand to support residents and deal with any problems that might arise. At The Mead we believe that anyone who suffers from mental illness has the opportunity to live life to the full. Each resident has a ‘key worker’ who takes a special interest in their wellbeing, supporting them in what they wish to achieve while living at the home.How you will make a difference:As a Mental Health Support/Recovery Worker, you will offer people affected by mental illness the support and help they need to regain their confidence and get involved in everyday social and workplace activities. You will be working closely with service users to achieve their own personal goals and access all the support they need on their recovery journey. I provide key worker support to a specified number of service users, including one to one individual support and liaison with other mental health agencies on behalf of people who use our services.I always have the individual’s needs at the forefront, working to the recovery model and using communication, motivation and coaching skills to support the service user to achieve their goals and aspirations.I develop a rapport with service users based on respect and honesty and work within clear professional boundaries and the Rethink Mental Illness Code of Conduct. Essential experience, skills required for this role:I have transferable life/work experience to apply to this role.I am a good listener, empathetic, understanding, kind, patient and willing to learnI can demonstrate behaviours consistent with the values of the Charity.I may also have, experience of providing support to people with a mental illness; or experience of providing care and/or support services within another social care setting in either a paid or voluntary capacity.

The WPSW will provide short-term support for patients leaving CNWL inpatient settings for 8-12 weeks to support them through the discharge process to reduce further admissions. This will help reduce delays in discharge from inpatient settings as a result of a wrap around support service.     We are looking for Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to work alongside an integrated mental health team based at HMP Full Sutton.Rethink Mental Illness work alongside Tees, Esk and Wear Valley NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV) and Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust to deliver an integrated stepped care mental health service within HMP Full Sutton.The team compromises a range of highly skilled professionals who work collaboratively to provide the highest quality of care for those with mental health needs within the prison and for Rethink Mental Illness employees, this is carried out between 0800 – 1600 Monday to Friday.You will work as part of an integrated care mental health team delivering Step 1 interventions, working alongside other professionals to support the mental health of the prison population. The team support people with a common mental health problem in the self-management of their recovery, building a professional relationship of trust in a non-judgmental manner with every client as a basis for developing and enabling therapeutic relationships. This ranges from providing informal information, support, and signposting, facilitating group activities and forums, to developing and training Peer Mentors and delivering service user engagement activities.     We’re seeking a qualified and accredited Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our integrated primary care mental health team at HMP Humber. As a PWP, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, low-intensity cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) interventions to clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression, aligning with Step 2 IAPT guidelines.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct person-centred assessments, manage referrals, and support individuals in their self-management and recovery journeys.Deliver guided self-help in both 1:1 and group settings, drawing from CBT principles.Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams, attending meetings, and contributing to step-up and step-down arrangements.Ensure accurate data entry and maintain high standards in clinical record-keeping and confidentiality.Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, upholding Rethink Mental Illness values.About YouQualifications: Completed the IAPT Low Intensity National Programme and hold a PWP accreditation (BPS or BABCP).Experience: Demonstrated experience providing low-intensity, evidence-based interventions in a stepped-care environment.Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases.Experience in a prison setting or with offender populations is beneficial, though not essential.Benefits
