Due to increased demand from our clients, we are seeking an HV Senior Authorised Person (33kV) to grow and improve this service.The SAP is a site-based role performing Operation & Maintenance duties on utility-scale solar/wind and battery storage sites and home/office working for other duties.Candidate must currently hold, or have recently held, 11 - 33kV SAP status. Experience operating and maintaining utility-scale renewable sites/equipment or DNO assets, would be desirable.You will need to be located near/travel to operational plants and have a full driving licence.This is a permanent role and will require availability for weekend and on-call duties, including overnight callouts.AccountabilitiesThe responsibilities of the HV SAP’s include:Always adherence to health and safety requirements and help to maintain and improve safety standardsAchieve and maintain Senior Authorised Person status.Carry out basic protection testing on HV related equipment. No turbine should be paused without prior consent.Confirm full availability of SCADA communication at start of night shift.Update daily availability report and distribute among the relevant Employer stakeholders (night).Manage any outage requests and include planned outages into the planning as relevant. Details of the requested outages should be collated and ready for the weekly outage meeting.Ensure team-work planning reflects the rota which matches against the team shift planner (night).Ensure checklist is complete for the day and that all work requests and emails are read, filed and actioned.
