The successful candidates will have responsibility, at site level for the effective delivery of all aspects of the Soft FM service which includes building cleaning; catering; school crossing patrol; security; and any other related services. You will have a flexible approach to working hours and have experience of working in a customer focused environment and be willing and enthusiastic to work as part of a team. It is desirable that you have previous Soft FM experience in a similar environment and have a willingness to undertake training. You must have literacy, numeracy and IT skills and it is desirable that you have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. You must have the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and colleagues.     Advert Caretaker (Temporary) This post is based at Bargarran Community Centre, Bargarran Road, ERSKINE, PA8 6BS You will report to the Facilities Co-Ordinator and assist in ensuring that the facilities are safely and properly used in accordance with conditions of let. Other duties will include key holder responsibilities, general cleaning, including use of cleaning machinery and care taking duties, which would also include operation of both fire and burglar alarm (where appropriate). Candidates should be able to lift/lay furniture regularly and be able to work without supervision. You should have general cleaning experience and experience in dealing with the public would be desirable. You must be able to work hours as required including out with normal hours to cover bookings, emergency callouts etc. You may be required to work in other Renfrewshire facilities.     Advert Pre and Post Birth Team Social Worker This is an exciting opportunity to join our professionally challenging and rewarding Pre and Post Birth Team as a Social Worker. The successful applicant will have the personal qualities, professional skills and knowledge required to carry out assessments and interventions with pregnant women, young babies and their families. Our Pre and Post Birth Team is located within Johnstone Town Hall and works with parents who reside within the Renfrewshire Authority and where pre-birth support, guidance and or assessment may be required. Our team has been set up to provide a service which is better able to effectively respond to need at the earliest stage in pregnancy as well as to deliver purposeful pre-birth intervention aimed at supporting children to be safely cared for at home in the care of their families. The Pre and Post Birth Team also undertake complex and challenging post birth parenting capacity assessments. The team require to undertake their role in a sensitive, nurturing and questioning manner with the focus being on the child’s safe care and future planning alongside supporting parents often at a time in their lives where they are most vulnerable. The Pre and Post Birth Team are currently in a position to develop and reshape with an emphasis around stronger scrutiny and quality assurance, alongside reviewing resources to ensure support is targeted at early intervention both pre and post birth. We want to make sure our service is fit for the future and has the flexibility and capacity to meet new challenges. Experience of recording and monitoring work using an electronic case record system is required alongside a clear understanding of relevant legislation, procedures and guidance both at National and Local level. It is essential that you have: a BA (Hons) in Social Work or equivalent; be registered with the SSSC; have two years’ post qualifying experience, be committed to social work values; have effective interpersonal, communication, IT, assessment and report writing skills; be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative; and have a flexible approach. Experience of working in a Child Care Social Work setting, post qualifying award in Practice Teaching or Child Protection and full current driving licence are desirable.
