Hours: 8:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday
Contract: Full-Time, Long-TermReeson Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive SEN school in Manchester (M22). This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about working with pupils aged 11-16 of all needs and abilities. The successful Learning Support Assistant will provide one-to-one and small group support, assist in classroom activities, and help ensure every pupil has the opportunity to succeed.Learning Support Assistant - Key Responsibilities:
* Support pupils aged 11-16 of all abilities as a Learning Support Assistant
* Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions as a Learning Support Assistant
* Assist teachers with classroom management and lesson delivery as a Learning Support Assistant
* Provide emotional, social, and behavioural support as a Learning Support Assistant
* Support pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, MLD, and other additional needs as a Learning Support Assistant
* Adapt learning resources and activities as a Learning Support Assistant
* Track pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers as a Learning Support Assistant
* Maintain a safe and supportive environment as a Learning Support Assistant
* Work collaboratively with staff, families, and external professionals as a Learning Support Assistant
* Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times as a Learning Support AssistantLearning Support Assistant - Requirements:
* Experience working in a SEN or complex needs environment as a Learning Support Assistant
* Confident, caring, and patient approach as a Learning Support Assistant
* Ability to support pupils with a wide range of needs and abilities as a Learning Support Assistant
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills as a Learning Support Assistant
