    As a House Keeper some of your daily duties will be to ensure all resident rooms and communal areas are clean and tidy and to always engage with residents and follow the company's health and safety policy.

    About the role:As a Team Leader you'll lead the care team on shift, ensuring safe, person-centred care for our residents and acting as the key point of contact for families and professionals.
    Key responsibilitiesLead and coordinate the care team on shift; allocate tasks and manage breaks.Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support with daily living.Administer and record medications safely (eMAR), escalating concerns promptly.Complete and update care plans, risk assessments and daily notes accurately.Carry out observations (e.g., BP, pulse, weight) and report changes to nurses/management.Conduct effective handovers and maintain clear communication across the team.Mentor, supervise and coach new starters and Care Assistants; support training compliance.Liaise professionally with residents' families, GPs and external professionals.Uphold safeguarding, dignity, infection control, GDPR and health & safety standards.Assist with audits (care records/meds), incident reporting and falls prevention

    Do you have what it takes to be a Chef/Cook in our home:
    Passion for producing high quality meals from fresh ingredients.Share our commitment to provide the quality of care that our residents deserve?Little things can make a big difference to our residents, so home baked cakes and biscuits are cooked every day, and wherever possible all desserts are cooked in the home.Experience in healthcare is not essential but is preferred, training will be given.
    As a Chef, some of your daily duties will be:
    To provide wholesome, nutritious meals for our residents following a four weekly rotating menuCater for special dietary requirements, such as modified texture meals following the IDDSI framework, Religious preferences, fortification, diabetes, and other needs.All temperature records are kept up to date along with cleaning rotas and all food safety requirementsMinimise waste and adhere to the company's policies and procedures.Supervise kitchen assistants, order stock/ manage kitchen,Ensure that the kitchen area is always kept clean and tidy,
    We will support you in every step of your duties by providing ongoing training and career development.
    We ask that you have experience in a similar environment, hold a food hygiene certificate (Level 2 & above or similar), have understanding of Safer Foods Better Business, have experience of varying dietary requirements, show empathy towards our elderly residents and want to progress your career within this rewarding environment.
