Key Responsibilities / Tasks You will be responsible for origination, client development and structured transactions for commodity financing opportunities within the metals, mining and freight industry (physical financing, structured repo, pre-pays etc.) Provide working capital for trade opportunities Work closely with the wider shipping business and existing clients to structure bespoke financing solutions Utilize commercial skills and industry knowledge to onboard clients across the EMEA (metals, mining and freight) Take advantage of market trends and opportunities to increase business Role reports into the Head of Desk Key Qualifications / Experience 2-5 years’ experience in a similar structured commodity finance role within a bank, trading house, utility, investment firm or fund, or from investment banking within the natural resources team. Industry knowledge and experience within metals, mining, oil, gas and/or fright is advantageous (coal, iron ore, metals, concentrates, petcoke, cement etc.) Driven with the ability to adapt when working on various different deals, structures and transactions Very strong commercial skills with the ability to originate and develop new business and client relationships Located in the UK
