As an MOT Tester/Vehicle Mechanic for their family-owned business in Cardiff, you will be responsible for conducting vehicle inspections and ensuring that they meet safety and environmental standards. This is a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our customers and maintaining compliance with regulations. Responsibilities: - Perform MOT tests on vehicles according to established guidelines and standards - Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, lights, tyres, and other essential components - Identify any faults or defects and provide accurate and detailed reports - Advise customers on necessary repairs or maintenance required to pass the MOT test - Maintain accurate records of all tests conducted - Keep up-to-date with changes in regulations and industry best practices Requirements: Current up to date MOT Licence Previous experience essential in MOT Inspections to comply with DVSA regulations as standard. A full driving licence.
