    About the Role
    We are seeking a skilled Parking Services Officer to join our Environment Department on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic local authority environment, managing penalty charge notice processing and parking enforcement functions.
    You'll be responsible for investigating and processing correspondence relating to Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs), making decisions on challenges and representations, and ensuring compliance with the Traffic Management Act 2004 and related traffic legislation.

    Key Responsibilities
    Process PCNs and respond to challenges, representations and appeals under Traffic Management Act 2004Investigate correspondence and make decisions on acceptance or rejection of challenges/representationsLiaise with London Tribunals, prepare cases for adjudication and represent the Council when requiredManage the full PCN recovery process to ensure complianceAuthorise parking bay suspensions, coordinating with relevant stakeholdersIssue temporary parking waivers and dispensationsPerform basic financial functions including PCN reconciliationProvide Customer Service Officer coverage Monday to Saturday as neededCollaborate with enforcement agents as required
