Job Description With the extensive development and completion of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, Red Bull Powertrains are recruiting experienced CNC Machinists to join the team on a permanent contract. This is your chance to be at the heart of the action, contributing to the next chapter of our Formula One journey. We are looking for individuals with expertise in operating and setting a variety of 5 Axis machines using Fanuc, Heidenhain or SIemens NC code with Renishaw probing systems. The ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, producing unique machined metallic components to exacting standards is essential. Shifts: Nights - Mon- Thurs 1900-0330  (Friday when needed) This role requires a dynamic, passionate and highly motivated individual. A strong and flexible team player, with some practical knowledge in electronics, who works well as an individual to constantly deliver under pressure. This role involves the detailed inspection of complex and critical components and assemblies to the highest standards using approved inspection methods, recording, and reporting results in accordance with our procedures. You will carry out non-destructive testing activities during the manufacture and in-service use of car components to ensure they are to the correct quality and specification. The applicant must have proven NDT Inspector experience and possess current EN4179 Level 2 qualifications in Magnetic Particle, Penetrant inspection, Ultrasonics and Eddy Current are essential. Experience and qualification in 2D X-ray, 3D CT & exposure to Volume Graphics is also desirable. You will also be able to demonstrate skills in the use of inspection measuring equipment. Applicants interested in applying will ideally be apprentice trained, hold an ONC/HNC qualification or equivalent and have experience and knowledge within a disciplined Manufacturing/Inspection environment. Experience working within the Motorsport, Automotive and/ or Aerospace industries is desirable. You will be a self-motivator with a proactive approach. In addition, you will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work to very tight deadlines, often with minimum supervision and have the ability to deal with challenging situations and delivery pressures. You will be based at out Milton Keynes campus in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This exciting position will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to Design, implement and maintain robust tooling to accurately, repeatably, and reliably manufacture all aspects of the power unit. Key Accountabilities: Design support from manufacturing to assembly taking ownership of each project using a bill of materials system (BoM) against which orders can be placed and delivery tracked. Maintain a library of manufacturing tooling solutions in close collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering teams. Function as a focal point for relevant manufacturing tooling requirements Key Competencies: Relevant design experience in the field of state-of-the-art manufacturing Detailed understanding of advanced manufacturing techniques, materials, and processes Proficiency in all aspects of 3D CAD (Siemens NX) including part, assembly, manufacturing drawing generation.
