Due to an increase in contracts, they are expanding their technical design team. Theyre looking for an experienced CAD Technician to work at the companys Head Office in Kingsland, Herefordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with AutoCAD experience who wants to develop a long-term career in construction, steel, timber and cladding design. Previous experience in steel portal frames, timber structures or cladding systems would be beneficial but is not essential. Full training will be provided on our products, processes and Advance Steel software. Youll work alongside experienced engineers, designers and project managers, producing drawings for manufacture and construction while learning every stage of our design process. Main Responsibilities Produce accurate 2D drawings using AutoCAD. Assist with creation of steel fabrication drawings and 3D models using Advance Steel (training provided where required).
