Were looking for caring, resilient individuals to join a supportive residential team in Dromore. The Role Youll work with children aged 612 in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. Your focus will be on building strong relationships, supporting recovery from trauma, and helping children feel safe, understood, and valued. Key Responsibilities Build meaningful, consistent relationships with young people. Support childrens recovery from trauma through routine, boundaries, and emotional regulation. Contribute to care planning and team discussions. Provide calm, compassionate support during times of crisis. Work closely with families and professionals to deliver holistic care. Complete accurate records in line with safeguarding and regulatory standards. Essential Requirements Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, Youth Work, or related field. Minimum 1 year experience in residential childcare or working with looked-after children. NISCC registration (or eligible to register). Full UK driving licence. Desirable Training in therapeutic or trauma-informed approaches. Degree in Social Work, Youth Work, Psychology, or related field. Experience leading shifts or supporting colleagues. Salary & Benefits £26,500£32,000 per year (depending on experience & qualifications). 38 hours per week (rotational shifts, including sleep-ins). Permanent contract.
