    Type: Permanent, Full-Time We are recruiting an Audio Visual Engineer on behalf of a growing and well-organised AV business known for its strong team culture and genuine commitment to work–life balance. The role is primarily field-based across the North of England, covering the region from the southern border of Scarborough, Thirsk, and Kendal and everything north of this line, including key areas such as Newcastle through to Carlisle. While the majority of work will be within this region, there will also be regular national travel as projects require. Overnight stays will occasionally be necessary, but all work is carefully planned well in advance. Engineers typically have visibility of their schedules up to eight weeks ahead, allowing for proper planning and a far healthier work–life balance than is often seen in the AV industry. The Role: You will be part of a close-knit engineering team delivering high-quality AV installations and support across a range of client projects. The business is structured, organised, and realistic in its planning, avoiding last-minute changes wherever possible. The role sits within a small, supportive team inside a larger, expanding organisation. This position has been designed as a long-term career pathway into Account Management. You will begin by learning the business from a customer service perspective, building strong relationships with clients and understanding how the organisation operates day to day. Over time, the role will evolve into managing and developing existing customer relationships, with opportunities to take ownership of accounts as the business continues to grow. This is not an admin-heavy role and not a call centre environment. While there are administrative elements involved, the focus is on customer interaction, relationship building, and providing exceptional service to business clients. The Role: You will be the first point of contact for many customers, providing friendly, knowledgeable, and professional support.
