    Location: Home‑based, with travel to our Crewe office for team days and meetings The OpportunityWe’re looking for experienced Managed IT & Modern Workplace Specialists to join a team that’s got a serious amount of untapped potential.
    We have an existing customer base of around 4,000 customers in one of our sectors, and right now, penetration of Managed IT and Modern Workplace solutions is low. Very low.That means this isn’t a cold‑start, blank‑sheet role. It’s a chance to step into a warm customer base, uncover genuine needs, build recurring revenue, and make a visible impact quickly.If you like the idea of being trusted, backed, and given room to do things properly (rather than chasing random cold leads), you’ll like this role. What you’ll actually be doingYou’ll own the growth of Managed IT and Modern Workplace across our existing customers. That means:Identifying, creating, and winning opportunities within the customer base.Working closely with our Retentions team turning warm conversations into real opportunitiesProactively building your own pipeline - not waiting to be spoon‑fed.Helping the Retentions team get sharper and more confident with our products, how they’re positioned, and when to bring you in.Joining live customer calls when introduced by the team, adding specialist value and helping move opportunities forward.You won’t just be “the person who quotes stuff”. You’ll be a trusted specialist that our customers and internal teams lean on. The kind of specialist we’re after:This role suits someone who can bring experience of selling Microsoft and Managed IT solutions, who enjoys commercial conversations and isn’t afraid to ask the right questions.You’re comfortable:Uncovering customer challengesTranslating technical capability into business valueRecommending the right mix of solutions (not just the biggest bundle)You know your stuff, but you also know how to explain it without drowning people in jargon. What you’ll be selling:You’ll be working across a strong Modern Workplace and Managed IT portfolio, including:Microsoft 365 (full suite)Microsoft DefenderAcronisDMARCEndpoint Security / EDR / MDRIntune / Device ManagementEmail SecuritySharePointTeams PhoneCyber EssentialsYour job is to understand what the customer actually needs – and then position the right solution, not everything. What will your day to day look like?Building and managing a healthy pipeline across the existing customer base.Proactively engaging customers to uncover new requirements.Running customer meetings via phone, Teams, and face‑to‑face where it makes sense.Creating and delivering proposals, quotes, and presentations.Owning opportunities end‑to‑end, from first conversation through to close.Working closely with delivery and internal teams to ensure smooth handover.Keeping CRM, pipeline, and forecasting accurate and up to date. What we’re looking for:2–3 years’ experience in B2B sales selling Managed IT, Microsoft, or Modern Workplace solutions, having developed a solid understanding of the marketplace.Proven experience with Microsoft 365, backup, security, and email protection solutions.Experience selling into an existing customer base and generating opportunities proactively.Comfortable working hand‑in‑hand with Retentions, while still owning your own number.Confident presenting remotely and in personOrganised, self‑motivated, and able to manage your own pipeline In your first 3–6 months, you’ll have:Built strong relationships with the Retentions and Account Management teamsDeveloped a healthy, realistic pipeline across the customer baseStarted consistently winning and closing opportunitiesHit (or exceeded) your monthly MRM targetsBecome the go‑to specialist for Managed IT and Modern Workplace across the business
