    Radis Community Care have an opportunity for experienced Live in Care worker to be placed in a packages in Wales.More and more people are wanting to remain in their own homes, with their loved ones and precious memories and surroundings. At Radis we try to make this a reality for as many individuals as possible with the support of passionate Care Workers making a difference to the lives of those they care for.About the roleThe Care worker will be living with a husband and wife in the Service Users own home in Wakes from 2 weeks up to long term. The hours are roughly 10 hours to 12 hours care per day with 2 hours break daily for the staff member to have their own time.  Also weekly regular breaks are provided.As it is 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, we are unable to offer part time hours and unable to support with sponsorships or Switched sponsorships.Requirements;We are looking for someone with previous live in care experience. Comprehensive training will be provided. This role is supported by our Community Lead nurses, who offer training and support throughout. The ideal candidate will be a caring and trustworthy person, who is able to support people in their own home with day to day living including personal care, support with medication and household tasks. They will be able to support with appointments and support in the community.The ideal candidate will be able to follow and support with Person centred plans and amend when needed. Health Assessments: Conduct annual wellbeing assessments for all people we support.Perform health checks such as blood pressure, pulse, urine tests, cholesterol, and blood sugar measurements.Use osteoporosis screening tools and have a working knowledge of diabetes. Promotion of Health and Wellbeing: Assist in promoting health and wellbeing among people we support with advice and support from the WBA.Provide documentation training and adhere to GDPR guidelines.Offer weekly clinic services and home visits for health checks and emotional support.
