    Our brand new Children's Home is recruiting for Waking Night Support Workers now! We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and passionate people to become an integral part of our support team. In this role, you will support our young people and you will be required to be alert and observant at all times. In addition to regular checks on the children and young people you will be assigned additional tasks.

    Based in the picturesque market town of Frome, our children's home will provide nurturing and support for children and young people with a range of needs, including autism, mental health challenges, emotional and behavioural difficulties, and learning disabilities. The overall focus of the home is to achieve positive outcomes for young people, we do this through multi agency working, personalised care planning and creating positive attachments.

    Resilience We support some of the most vulnerable children in society who have varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties so there will be times where your resilience is challenged.Communication Communicating with our young people is vital to understand their needs. Good teamwork and communication plays a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.Organisation You’ll need to be confident and organised in updating care plans and reporting information that will be relevant to the care of our young people.Caring Our young people require the best care we can offer. If you are a naturally caring and compassionate person, this is the role for you.Attentive No young person / situation is the same so being attentive to understand them and identify areas where we can support is important and alert within any situation.

    Queenswood School are currently looking to recruit an outstanding English Teacher to join our LIFE (Literacy Is For Everything) team! We are looking for an ambitious, energetic, and committed teacher who will expand the learning experiences of our pupils. The successful candidate will be teaching and supporting our young people who may have autism, ADHD and associated complex needs.
    Queenswood School is set across two sites in a beautiful rural location in Herefordshire. We are an Independent Specialist day school specialising in the education and care of children and young people between the age of 11 to 19 years who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum. We are looking for an experienced Lead for English across the school.
    Main responsibilities:Oversee the planning of curriculum content to improve standards of learning and achievement for all, ensuring it is well sequenced to promote pupil progressEnsure the planned curriculum is effectively and consistently implemented across the whole schoolWork with teachers and other subject leads to build links between the LIFE curriculum and the wider curriculumEnsure effective use of resource
