  • Project Engineer  

    About the role We are seeking an experienced project engineer to work on one of the largest security transformation projects in the UK. Working directly for our client’s senior programme manager, you will oversee and drive the successful mobilisation and delivery of access control, intrusion detection and video surveillance installation projects. You will attend sites distributed nationally and provide a key interface between the internal client project teams, embedded commissioning teams and installation teams. You will act as subject matter expert (SME) on Genetec and provide technical oversight to the programme manager. You will work in conjunction with the physical security analyst (PSA) team to ensure technical specifications and designs are aligned to completed risk assessments. The ideal candidate must excel in multitasking and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. What you will do Report directly into the Senior Security Programme Manager. Travel nationally within the northern region, where required, to complete survey, data capture and quality assessment tasks Assess and validate submitted designs against project standards. Assist in co-ordinating works with the various delivery teams including but not limited to IT teams, power teams, fire teams, security service integrators, SOC and senior stakeholders. Lead participation in the Request for Change (RFC) Change Control process system to support project and handover activities. Supervise and oversee documentation for the commissioning process and ensure final sign-off. Manage and maintain the commissioning folders for each project, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Responsible for ensuring that system projects are completed, from requirements gathering, and system/solutions design, through to deployment within agreed deadlines, within budget, and any potential issues escalated in line with internal policy while maintaining the client's best interests. Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary national team. Prepare and deliver accurate weekly reports. Lead communications within the group and actively participate in meetings. Continually ensure that practices, policies, strategy, and services represent the client’s and the Company’s best interests. What we are looking for Experienced and certified in Genetec Synergis and Omnicast. Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite including Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.     About the role - QCICJD114 Reporting to the Account Lead, the successful candidates will have a background in technical security design with the ability to project manage the technical and commercial delivery of projects. The successful candidates will manage all aspects of the projects including stakeholder engagement, technical escalation, and financials. The group works simultaneously on several projects so being comfortable working in a fast-paced environment is essential. The roles will involve intricate technical knowledge of a range of security systems including but not limited to Genetec, CCURE and Lenel.
    Please note this role will require travel within Europe.

    We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Engineer to play a pivotal role within a client team based in London. You will oversee and drive the successful mobilisation and delivery of access control and CCTV projects across the client’s portfolio. This lead position will involve supporting enterprise-level application implementations, managing migrations from legacy systems, and providing expert troubleshooting. The ideal candidate must excel in multitasking and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This is an on-site role, based in the Central London area, requiring five days per week on-site presence. Occasional travel, particularly to Europe, may be necessary.
    What you will do Lead on supporting Enterprise level application implementations, including programming, testing and commissioning, and project completion activities Lead and provide remote support and expert advice for break-fix events across client sites in the UK, Ireland, EMEA, and APAC regions. Oversee and manage the service and maintenance of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and break-fix requirements, integrating these responsibilities into the Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations, particularly for senior engineers. Lead participation in the Request for Change (RFC) Change Control process system to support PPM and break-fix activities. Supervise and oversee documentation for the commissioning process and ensure final sign-off. Manage and maintain the commissioning folders for each project, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Monitor technical bulletins and liaise with the technical support functions to manage any known issues that could affect the specific product lines and provide management with advice on recommended mitigations. Responsible for ensuring that system projects are completed, from requirements gathering, and system/solutions design, through to deployment within agreed deadlines, within budget, and any potential issues escalated in line with internal policy while maintaining the client's best interests. Act as the main point of escalation technically and operationally. Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary global team. Prepare and deliver accurate weekly reports covering incidents, downtime, and business impact across all platforms, in alignment with the client lead requirements.     What we are looking for Experienced and certified in C-Cure 9000 AACS Application Level 2 Experienced and certified in Victor VMS/CCTV Application. A high level of proficiency and expertise relevant to the design, deployment, and management of integrated Enterprise physical and technical security systems. This will include a comprehensive understanding of ICT Infrastructure, hosting arrangement, and networks. Proven record of leading successful physical security system implementations/migrations, capable of delivering quality solutions and outcomes within complex and time-sensitive environments.
