    Hours: 42.5 hours per week.
    Shift Pattern - alternate earlies and lates.
     WK1: Monday – Friday, 6.00am – 3.00pm
    WK2: Monday – Friday, 2.00pm – 11.00pm & alternate Saturday mornings paid at time and half.
    Our client is one of the leading suppliers of commercial transport solutions in the UK. They have over 30 years experience in Commercial Vehicle Solutions.
     
    They are actively recruiting for an HGV Workshop Shift Supervisor at their Witham Depot.
    Candidates for this position must have up to date HGV technical knowledge within the commercial motor industry. Previous supervisory experience is an advantage. This is a semi productive position therefore applicants must be skilled and experienced at; MOT preparation, repairing, diagnosing, servicing and maintaining heavy goods vehicles to a high standard.
    The HGV Workshop Supervisor will be hands-on repairing and servicing HGV Vehicles and quality checking work and taking HGV vehicles out for test runs so having an HGV licence is essential.
     
    Duties will include:
    • Supervising a shift of HGV Technicians and ensuring staff discipline is maintained.
    • Issuing work to Technicians and providing technical support to your team.
    • Managing shift effectively and proactively improving shift productivity.
    • Ensuring excellent quality standards are achieved.
    • Maintaining and managing customer expectations.
    • Ensuring good housekeeping and all health and safety processes are always adhered too.
